We join you in lifting up your family to the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We stand firmly on this truth as we bring your needs before the throne of grace.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Christ came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). This sickness is not from God, for He is the God who heals (Exodus 15:26). We rebuke this illness in the name of Jesus, commanding every symptom—congestion, coughing, weakness, and the whooping cough affecting your grandchildren—to flee in Jesus’ mighty name. *"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their graves."* (Psalm 107:20, WEB). We declare that same healing word over you, your husband, and your grandchildren now.
We pray for every cell, tissue, organ, muscle, bone, and lung to function in perfect alignment with God’s design. May the breath of the Almighty fill your lungs with strength and vitality, and may His healing virtue flow through your bloodstream, restoring you completely. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* (3 John 1:2, WEB). We claim this promise over your household, trusting that the Lord will renew your strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31).
For your grandchildren, we ask the Lord to surround them with His protection and healing power. Whooping cough is a serious affliction, but our God is greater. We pray that their little bodies would be restored to full health, that their immune systems would be strengthened, and that no lasting effects would remain. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). May they be filled with His peace and comfort as they recover.
We also encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and healing over your family. Do not allow fear or doubt to take root, for *"faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen"* (Hebrews 11:1, WEB). Keep declaring the promises of God over your home, and trust that He is working even now.
Father, we thank You for Your healing power at work in this family. We ask that You would touch them with Your mighty hand, removing every trace of sickness and restoring them to full health. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We give You all the glory and praise for what You are doing, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
