We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her family in this time of urgent need. Father, we know that You are the Provider of all things, and Your Word assures us that You will never leave nor forsake those who trust in You. "For the LORD your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory." (Deuteronomy 20:4). Lord, we ask that You fight this battle on behalf of ###, that the obstacles preventing her from receiving her SNAP benefits would be removed swiftly and completely.
We rebuke any spirit of delay, confusion, or bureaucracy that may be hindering this process. Your Word declares, "The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." (Psalm 145:18). Lord, we call on You in truth, asking that ###’s case be resolved without further hardship. We pray that her benefits would be approved immediately, no later than February 17th, so that she and her children will not go hungry. Father, You know the depths of their need, and we trust that You will open the doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
We also lift up the ### family, asking that You would provide for them through this trial. Lord, You are the God who multiplies loaves and fishes, who fed the Israelites in the wilderness, and who promises to supply every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You would move mightily in their lives, that food banks and other resources would be abundant and accessible to them. Let them not be ashamed or dismayed, for You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we must also address the heart behind this request. While we stand in the gap for ###, we encourage her to place her ultimate trust in You, not in systems or benefits alone. "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33). Lord, draw her closer to You during this time, that she may experience Your peace and provision in ways that go beyond physical food. Help her to lean on You and to teach her children to do the same.
We pray that ### would come to know You more deeply, if she does not already. Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If she has not yet surrendered her life to Him, we pray that this trial would lead her to the foot of the cross, where she can find eternal hope and salvation. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16).
Lord, we also ask that You would raise up believers in ###’s life—those who can come alongside her with practical help, encouragement, and the love of Christ. Let the body of Christ be Your hands and feet in this situation, showing her the compassion and grace that only You can provide.
We declare that this situation is not too hard for You, Lord. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will, knowing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your goodness. "Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and mighty things, which you don’t know." (Jeremiah 33:3).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. We will continue to stand in faith and intercede for ### and her family until we see Your hand move on their behalf. Keep praying, for the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous avails much (James 5:16).
