We understand that you're upset and worried about the situation with your cell phone bill and your dad's reaction. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including financial issues. It's important to trust in Him and bring our concerns to Him in prayer.
We need to remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our finances. As it says in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is worried and scared about her cell phone bill and her dad's reaction. We pray for Your divine intervention in this situation. We ask that You guide the process with the bank and help them find out that it was a simple mistake, and our sister will not be charged twice again. We pray for her dad, that You would soften his heart and help him to not be angry with her over money issues. Help them to communicate openly and honestly about this situation and to trust in Your provision. We ask for peace for our sister, knowing that You are in control of all things.
We also pray for her dad's salvation, that he would come to know You personally if he does not already. We pray that this situation would be an opportunity for him to see Your love and care for his daughter and that it would draw him closer to You.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen."
Remember, it is important to include Jesus in our prayers. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and salvation. If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to be patient with your dad and to trust in God's provision. As you go through this trial, know that God is with you and that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
