Please make Christian friends. I asked for prayers to reconcile my relationship with my ex-girlfriend.
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you, in Jesus’ name to provide you with an update on my request to reconcile my 7.5-year relationship with my ex-girlfriend. Today I was driving by her house and I saw her outside. I stopped in to say hello; she was a little bit cold when I started to talk to her, but she opened up. She’s very bitter and she still hurt. She told me a lot of how hurt she was by what happened on February 9, and I just went on to say that I did that to protect you from getting into trouble. I said I love you and you’re the only woman in my life and I want more than anything to have a second chance. I went on to talk about what I’ve been doing to be a better person. I’ve taken anger management and finished it and I’ve been going to ongoing counselling and working with our working with my church and helping out the priest to do some renovations and minor things around the church. He’s been helping me by giving me advice and talking to me about God and reconciliation. However, she’s distraught and I tell her the stuff, but it doesn’t seem to sink in yet. I still look at this as a step forward. She did say she would give me an answer or think about it and a few hours after I left I see an email in my inbox and it was her saying she doesn’t want me back and she doesn’t think that it’s gonna work out, but I’m still optimistic. I know she’s hurt and I know that it’s gonna take a little bit of work, but I just think that she will come around. I just gotta be careful about how I approach the situation and how I speak to her. I can think of a scripture that I have to be careful on my tongue; it’s James chapter 3 verses 5 & 6.
