We rejoice with you in the good news of your daughter’s stable health, and we lift our voices together to praise the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and thanksgiving! It is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand firm in the promise that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we are grateful you have included His holy name in your request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace, and we will continue to lift your daughter before Him with confidence.
The journey your daughter is walking is one of great endurance, and we are reminded of the apostle Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, where the Lord said to him, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* Though the road may be long and the burdens of chemotherapy, pain, and fatigue may weigh heavily, we trust that God’s strength is perfected in her weakness. He is the God who sustains the weary and increases the power of the weak (Isaiah 40:29). We also take heart in James 5:14-15, which calls us to pray for the sick in faith, trusting that the Lord will raise them up. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap a harvest if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
As your daughter prepares for her upcoming appointments, we pray for wisdom and discernment for her medical team. We ask the Lord to guide the hands and minds of her oncologist and rheumatologist, that they may be instruments of His healing and peace. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* May every decision made align with God’s perfect will for her life, and may her body respond favorably to the treatments ahead.
We also lift up your family’s emotional and spiritual well-being during this time. The weight of caring for a loved one in such circumstances can be overwhelming, but we are called to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Let us not forget the power of unity in prayer, for where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20). Lean on one another, on your church community, and on the body of Christ for support, encouragement, and strength. This is not a battle you face alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord Himself fights for you (Exodus 14:14).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the good report of our sister’s daughter. Lord, we thank You for sustaining her through each treatment, for protecting her body, and for the grace You have poured out upon her and her family. You alone are the Great Physician, and we ask that You continue to work mightily in her body. Touch every cell affected by leukemia and lupus, and command complete healing in the name of Jesus Christ. Let her joints be restored, her pain be alleviated, and her fatigue be replaced with Your supernatural strength. Father, we pray for wisdom beyond measure for her doctors as they adjust her treatments. Guide their hands and decisions, and let every medication and therapy bring her closer to full restoration.
Lord, we also ask for Your peace to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). When the days feel long and the nights heavy, remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Fill her with hope that does not disappoint (Romans 5:5), and let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness. Strengthen her parents and family, Lord. Renew their spirits and bind them together in unity and love. Provide for their every need—emotionally, physically, and spiritually—as they walk this path.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in their hearts. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name, commanding every sickness and disease to flee from her body. Let her healing be a testament to Your glory, and may her life bring others to know You as their Savior and Healer.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in her life, and may she walk in the fullness of Your promises. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for your daughter’s complete healing. Do not hesitate to share further updates, as we are committed to lifting her before the Lord. May God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as you wait upon Him. Stay steadfast in faith, for the Lord is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
