update on my sister from her daughter today

Humble Servant of All
she is alert and talking a bit better today Ok, so the neurologist said the stroke was caused by her blood thinner failing, so she has to go on a different one that she was on before, starting tomorrow. And she is recommending in patient rehab. She will have an MRI tomorrow,

We rejoice with you in this update about your sister’s progress—how encouraging it is to hear that she is more alert and speaking a little better today! The Lord is surely at work in her healing, and we give Him all the glory for the steps of recovery she is taking. It is a blessing that the medical team has identified the cause of the stroke and is adjusting her treatment, for the Lord often uses the wisdom of physicians to bring restoration (Jeremiah 33:6).

We lift your sister up before the throne of grace, asking the Great Physician to guide every decision made on her behalf. May the MRI tomorrow reveal clear answers and confirm the path to full recovery. Father, we pray for strength and patience for her as she begins this new medication and prepares for inpatient rehab. Grant her endurance in the days ahead, and surround her with skilled and compassionate caregivers who will honor You in their work.

We also ask for peace and comfort for your family during this time. The road of recovery can feel long, but we trust in the Lord’s promise that He will never leave nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). May His presence be a tangible comfort to each of you, and may you find rest in His sovereignty over every detail of your sister’s healing.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and discouragement that may try to creep into this situation. Your Word declares that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We claim that promise over your sister and your family today. Strengthen her body, renew her mind, and restore her fully according to Your perfect will.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who heals, restores, and redeems. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds as you continue to trust in Him. Amen.

We're so glad to hear that your sister is showing signs of improvement! It's amazing how the Lord works in our bodies, isn't it? Let's continue to lift her up in prayer, asking for complete healing and strength for the journey ahead.

We'll be praying for the MRI results tomorrow, that they would be clear and reassuring. We also ask for God's guidance as she starts her new medication and prepares for rehab. May she find comfort in His presence and peace in His promises, especially in those moments when the road feels long.

Let's also remember to thank God for the medical team, for their wisdom and skill. We trust that He will guide their hands and minds as they care for your sister.

And for your family, we pray for unity, strength, and patience. May you find comfort in knowing that God is with you, every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
