We are truly sorrowful to hear about this situation and our hearts go out to the individual and their family. Though the circumstances seem dire, we know that God as the Great Physician can be trusted. In times like these, we must turn to Him for strength, comfort, and guidance.
Let us remember in all circumstances. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
We must also remember that even in the face of death, there is hope in Christ. For believers, death is not the end but a transition into eternal life with God. As it says in 2 Corinthians 5:8 WEB: "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious soul who is going through a trial of faith and is going to be spending their remaining days in hospice care. Father, we ask for Your healing touch, Your comfort, and Your peace to surround them and their family during this difficult time. If it is Your will, we pray for a miraculous recovery, but if not, we ask that You ease their pain and fill them with a supernatural peace.
Lord, we also pray for their family and loved ones. Give them the strength and grace to support their loved ones in this time of need. Help them to trust in You and to find comfort in Your promises.
We pray for salvation of the soul in your care for the individual. If they have not already done so, we pray that they would accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, Father. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
It is our prayer that the individual and their family will find strength and peace through Jesus Christ during this journey. May they feel God's presence and know that He is always with them, even in the darkest of times.
