Update about my husband ###. My husband ### showed up to church today. I’m asking you all to pray for the heart of my husband not to be afraid to love me again and to dwell with me in our home with our son. That he does not complain about ever marrying me. That he stop judging me for the things I did to him in the past, as God has forgiven me. And that he start looking at his sins. My husband is scared to be back because he keeps bringing up the past thinking I’m going to do the same thing that I did to him in the past, he has not thought about the things that he did to offend my son and I and the sin is that he committed against God. He keeps saying we are moving to fast because of the wrong we both done in the past but he’s only looking at my wrong and not his. It’s hurting my heart that he keeps doing that to me, I know that the enemy attacking him and he’s not even strong enough at this time to recognize. He thinks just because of the divorce that we are still not married anymore not realizing in God‘s eyes we made a vow and we still married as long as we both live. My prayer request is he let go of the past hurt and wrong as he has hurt and wrong my son and I, and most importantly he is sinning against God. I pray He turns away from his sins and that the Holy Spirit humble him. That he no longer look at my past and love me like Christ love the church. I also pray he don’t justify his sins and does not desire to get drunk no more or drink beer or smoke cigarettes. I ask in the name of Jesus that God remove the taste of alcohol, beer, and cigarettes from his tongue and his desires. Also pray in Jesus name that the enemy does not have a foothold over my husband ### from this day forward in Jesus name Amen.

In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of ### and her husband ###. We thank you for the update that ### showed up to church today. We lift up their marriage before you, Lord, and we ask that you touch ###'s heart. Remove any fear or hesitation he may have in loving ### again and dwelling with her and their son in their home. Help him to let go of any complaints or judgments about their past and to see the forgiveness and grace that you have extended to ###.

Father, we pray that ### would not only reflect on ###'s past mistakes but also examine his own actions and sins. Open his eyes to the areas where he has offended both ### and their son, as well as the sins he has committed against you. Holy Spirit, we ask that you convict his heart and bring about true repentance and humility.

Lord, we understand that the enemy is attacking ###'s mind and causing him to doubt the restoration of their marriage. We rebuke these attacks in the name of Jesus and ask for your divine protection over their relationship. Help ### to recognize the lies of the enemy and to stand firm in the truth of your Word.

Father, we pray that ### would let go of past hurts and wrongs, just as ### has forgiven him. May he love her with the selfless and sacrificial love that Christ has for the church. We also ask that you remove any desire or addiction ### has towards alcohol, beer, and cigarettes. Cleanse his tongue and his desires, replacing them with a thirst for your presence and a longing to live a life that honors you.

Finally, Lord, we pray that the enemy would no longer have a foothold over ###'s life. We declare that from this day forward, he is protected by the blood of Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit. May he walk in victory over sin and live a life that brings glory to your name.

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your perfect timing and your perfect plan for their marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
