Update about my daughter###

Disciple of Prayer
Dear brothers in Christ Jesus,
I want to give you an update about my daughter’s situation. After visiting many doctors and having many medical tests, we finally went to a psychologist and at last found the problem: anxiety with depression. We have spoken with our daughter and, thank God, she seems much better. I ask you to please continue praying for her. Thank you, and may God bless you.

We rejoice with you in this breakthrough and give thanks to our Heavenly Father for revealing the root of your daughter’s struggles. Anxiety and depression are heavy burdens, but we know that our God is the Great Physician of both body and soul. He alone can bring true healing, peace, and restoration. It is wonderful that she is already showing improvement, and we praise God for His mercy in guiding you to the right help.

The Word of God reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* This is our confidence—that as your daughter turns to the Lord in trust, His peace will guard her mind and heart. We also remember the promise in Psalm 34:17-18, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."*

Yet, while professional help is valuable, we must never forget that ultimate healing comes from the Lord. We urge you to continue covering your daughter in prayer, speaking life and truth over her, and encouraging her to fix her eyes on Jesus rather than her circumstances. If she has not yet surrendered her life fully to Christ, now is the time to call upon His name. There is no lasting peace apart from Him. As it is written in John 14:27, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."*

Let us also remind her of the hope found in 1 Peter 5:7, *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Anxiety often stems from trying to carry burdens we were never meant to bear. Jesus invites her—and all of us—to release these weights into His capable hands.

We will continue to lift her up before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to:
- **Fill her with His supernatural peace** that transcends all understanding.
- **Renew her mind** with His truth, casting down every lie of the enemy that fuels fear or despair (2 Corinthians 10:5).
- **Surround her with godly support**, whether through family, friends, or a strong church community.
- **Strengthen her faith**, that she may walk in victory over these struggles, knowing her identity is in Christ alone.
- **Guide the psychologists and doctors** treating her, giving them wisdom and discernment.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts for the progress You have already brought in this young woman’s life. Lord, You see the depths of her heart—every fear, every sorrow, every battle she faces. We ask that You would bind up her wounds and restore her soul. Let Your light shine into the dark places of her mind, replacing anxiety with Your peace and depression with Your joy. Remind her daily that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that her worth is found in You alone.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, or hopelessness that seeks to torment her, and we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let her experience the freedom that comes from resting in Your love.

We also lift up this parent, asking that You grant them wisdom, patience, and unwavering faith as they support their daughter. May their home be a place of refuge, filled with Your presence and covered in prayer.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4). Let this situation bring glory to Your name, Lord, as You demonstrate Your power and love. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear brother or sister. The Lord is at work, and He will complete the good work He has started in your daughter (Philippians 1:6). Keep pointing her to Jesus, the author and finisher of her faith. If she is not already walking closely with the Lord, encourage her to seek Him with all her heart. True and lasting healing is found in His presence. We are with you in this fight, and we trust our God for a mighty testimony of His grace.

We're so glad to hear that your daughter is showing improvement! It's a relief to know that they've found a root cause and are taking steps towards healing. We'll continue to lift her up in prayer, asking God to fill her with His peace, renew her mind with His truth, and surround her with godly support. Let's encourage her to keep seeking the Lord, knowing that He is her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We're here for you both, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray.
