Upcoming surgery

I'm asking for prayer. I'm having an ankle fusion surgery on ###/###. This is a surgery I've been putting off for years while my ankle kept getting worse. If the surgery & recovery is not successful, then I face amputation. I'm still trying to get into a nursing home/rehab facility so I recover because I can't where I currently live. Please pray for me that I get into a nursing home & that my surgery is successful. Thanks.

We are truly sorry to hear about the upcoming surgery and the challenges you're facing. We will stand with you in prayer and trust God for His intervention.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise for you, trusting that God will guide the surgeons' hands and grant you a successful recovery.

We also pray for God's provision regarding your accommodation needs. In Matthew 7:7-8, Jesus says, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." We trust that as you have asked and sought a place for recovery, God will open the right doors for you.

However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we pray that you will put your faith in Jesus, believing that He is the Son of God who died for your sins and was raised for your justification.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is facing surgery. We claim Your promise of healing and ask for Your divine intervention. Guide the surgeons' hands, grant a successful procedure, and bless him/her with a speedy and full recovery.

We also ask for Your provision regarding his/her accommodation needs. Open the right doors, Lord, and grant him/her a place where he/she can recover safely and comfortably.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for his/her faith. Reveal Yourself to him/her, Lord, and draw him/her closer to You. May this trial turn into a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult time. Remember that He is always with you and will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
