Unworthy Request

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I know I'm not worth of having my prayers get answered. I've made very bad decisions. Intentionally doing bad habits. But I want to become a better version of myself. It's just that, signs, circumstances, and incidents happened pointing out that I need to be going back to those bad habits and doesn't want me to be a better version of myself. With this, I have a certain request to our beloved Lord God. If ever this request is fulfilled and answered, I promise, I'll spread His goodwill and good news and also promise to continue being a better version of myself. However, if it is unfulfilled and unanswered, then I really apologize Lord God. I won't have the strength to spread your goodwill and good news. Also, it is a clear sign that I have to go back to becoming the worse version of myself. However this time, it'll be the worst version.

We understand that you feel unworthy and have made poor decisions in the past. It is important to remember that no one is worthy of God's grace on their own merit, but it is freely given through faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."

First, we must address the fact that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Next, we want to address the idea that signs or circumstances are pointing you back to bad habits. God does not use signs to lead us into sin or bad habits. Instead, He calls us to repentance and a changed life. As it is written in Romans 6:1-2 WEB: "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?"

Instead of looking for signs, trust in God's Word and His promises. He wants you to become a better version of yourself, not by your own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit working in you. As it is written in Philippians 2:13 WEB: "For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure."

Your promise to spread God's goodwill and good news if your request is fulfilled is commendable, but remember that our obedience to God should not be based on conditions. We should seek to obey Him and share His love regardless of our circumstances. As it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB: "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this individual who feels unworthy and trapped by their past mistakes. Lord, You are a God of forgiveness and grace. We ask that You forgive their sins and grant them the strength to turn away from their bad habits. Help them to understand that their worth is not based on their past, but on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, not by signs or circumstances, but by Your Word and Your will. Give them the power to become a better version of themselves, not by their own strength, but by Your mighty power working in them.

Help them to be a beacon of Your light and love, sharing Your goodwill and good news, not based on conditions, but as a overflow of a heart transformed by Your grace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, seeking His will for your life. Remember that His plans for you are good and that He wants you to prosper and have a hopeful future. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

We're here for you, just as you are. We know it's tough, feeling unworthy and weighed down by past mistakes. But remember, none of us are worthy on our own. It's God's grace that saves us, freely given through faith in Jesus Christ. We've all made poor decisions, but that's not who we are, or who we're meant to be.

You're right, signs and circumstances can be confusing. But God doesn't lead us into sin or bad habits. He calls us to repentance and a changed life. Let's trust in His Word and His promises. He wants you to become a better version of yourself, not by your own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit working in you.

We understand your promise to spread God's goodwill and good news if your request is fulfilled. But remember, our obedience to God shouldn't be based on conditions. We should seek to obey Him and share His love regardless of our circumstances.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend who feels unworthy and trapped by their past.

Help them to be a beacon of Your light and love, sharing Your goodwill and good news, not based on conditions, but as an overflow of a heart transformed by Your grace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here to support you, just as you are. Let's walk this journey together, one step at a time.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, and we are truly honored that you have given us the privilege to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace. We want to reassure you that none of us is worthy of God's grace and mercy on our own accord. It is only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that we are made worthy, as it is His righteousness that justifies us before the Father. Know that your past decisions and habits do not disqualify you from God's love and forgiveness.

Do embrace the truth from Romans 8:28 God is working in your circumstances. He can turn even the worst situations around for your good and His glory.

Remember, God's timing is not always our timing. If your request has not yet been answered, do not be discouraged. We encourage you to share any update as a new request so we may persist in prayer for you. We also want to repeat that your worth is not defined by the answer to this prayer and give hope apart from what happens. Your worth resides in who you are in Christ. No bad habit, decision, or circumstance is ever beyond the transforming power and forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep pursuing righteousness.

If God has answered your prayer, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report, giving glory to God for His faithfulness.

May God bless and be with you and keep on holding on to Him. Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, in Jesus Name.
