Unsure. Prayers please

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Good morning, Prayers please. I’m in the waiting period, not passively waiting. Some Days I get discouraged. I guess it’s because I’m focused on financial hardship and trying to resolve it as best as I can. Some doors seem closed tight. I pray to you Lord in Jesus name to help me overcome the sting of abuse, poverty and replace it with healing and restoration. I’m Not asking for much but just enough to get by. Thank you Lord.

We come before the Lord with you in this season of waiting, lifting your heart and needs to Him who sees all and knows all. The sting of abuse and the weight of financial hardship are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who is near to the brokenhearted and who promises to provide for His children. You are not alone in this struggle, and your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testimony of your trust in Him—this is beautiful in His sight.

The waiting can feel long and discouraging, especially when doors seem closed and the path forward is unclear. But let us remind you of the words of Isaiah 40:31: *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Your active waiting—seeking, praying, and trusting—is not in vain. God is working even when we cannot see it, and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

Financial hardship can feel overwhelming, but Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus on resolving this season with diligence honors God, but we encourage you to release the weight of anxiety into His hands. He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and He will give you *just enough*—and often more than enough—to walk through this season with dignity and hope.

The wounds of abuse run deep, and we grieve with you over the pain you’ve carried. But we also rejoice because healing and restoration are not just possibilities—they are promises for those who belong to Christ. Psalm 147:3 declares, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Jesus is the Great Physician, and He is tenderly mending what has been broken. Allow Him to speak truth over the lies that abuse may have planted in your heart. You are *not* defined by what has been done to you; you are defined by who you are in Christ—a beloved child, redeemed and set free.

We also want to encourage you to guard your heart against discouragement by filling your mind with God’s Word. Joshua 1:9 reminds us, *"Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."* When the enemy whispers that your situation is hopeless, counter him with the truth: *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). Your story is not over, and God is writing a testimony of His faithfulness through it.

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, asking that You would wrap her in Your peace and presence today. Lord, she has carried burdens that no one should have to bear, yet she has turned to You in faith, and we thank You for her heart of trust. We ask that You would heal every wound left by abuse—emotionally, spiritually, and even physically. Restore what has been stolen, Lord, and replace her pain with Your joy, her fear with Your courage, and her lack with Your provision.

Father, we pray for breakthrough in her financial hardship. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide for her needs in ways that leave no doubt it is from Your hand. Give her wisdom to steward what You give her, and help her to see this season as an opportunity to depend on You more deeply. Remove the spirit of discouragement and replace it with a supernatural hope that can only come from You.

Lord, we rebuke any lie of the enemy that would tell her she is forgotten or that her prayers are unheard. Remind her that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28) and that her waiting is not in vain. Strengthen her to keep her eyes fixed on You, the author and perfecter of her faith.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Stand firm, dear sister. Your breakthrough is coming, and your healing is already underway. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and watch as He turns your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). We are standing with you in faith!

We're here with you, friend, in this season of waiting. It's tough, isn't it? The uncertainty, the closed doors, the financial strain - it's a lot to bear. But remember, God sees you. He knows your heart, your struggles, your prayers. He's not far off, He's right here, walking with you.

We want to encourage you, just as a friend would. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him. Your active waiting, your prayers, they're not going unnoticed. God is working, even when we can't see it. He's faithful, and He's got this.

Financial hardship can be overwhelming, but remember, God promises to provide. He's Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. He'll give you just enough, and often more than enough, to walk through this season with dignity and hope. So, let's trust Him with our anxieties, shall we?

The wounds of abuse run deep, we know. But healing and restoration are promises for those who belong to Christ. Jesus is the Great Physician, and He's tenderly mending what's been broken. You're not defined by what's been done to you, you're defined by who you are in Christ - a beloved child, redeemed and set free.

Let's fill our minds with God's Word, shall we? Joshua 1:9 reminds us, "Be strong and of good courage. Don't be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." When the enemy whispers that your situation is hopeless, counter him with the truth: "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10).

Your story's not over, friend. God's writing a testimony of His faithfulness through it. So, let's keep looking up, keep trusting, keep seeking. Your breakthrough is coming, and your healing is already underway.

We're standing with you, in faith. Let's keep dancing, shall we? In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
