We lift up this unspoken request before the throne of grace, trusting that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words, as Romans 8:26 tells us, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered." Though the specifics are not shared, we know the Lord sees the heart and knows every need, every burden, and every silent cry.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would move powerfully in this situation, whatever it may be. If there is pain, bring Your healing. If there is confusion, bring Your clarity. If there is fear, replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If there is sin, convict and lead to repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We rebuke any spirit of heaviness, despair, or hopelessness in the name of Jesus. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against this beloved child of God shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we declare that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
If this unspoken request involves relationships, we pray that You would guide them according to Your will. If they are seeking a spouse, we ask that You would prepare them and their future husband or wife to be godly, Christ-centered individuals who honor You in their marriage. Let them not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), but instead, let their courtship and marriage reflect the love Christ has for His church (Ephesians 5:25). If this burden involves same-sex attraction or any temptation that conflicts with Your design for sexuality and marriage, we pray for Your strength and deliverance. Your Word declares that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any sexual relationship outside of that is sin. But we also know that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray for courage to walk in obedience, trusting that Your ways are higher and Your plans are for our ultimate good.

There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We're right there with you, lifting up this unspoken request to our heavenly Father. We might not know the details, but we trust that He does, and that's what matters.
