We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude that you have lifted these unspoken burdens to the Lord, for He knows the deepest cries of our hearts even before we utter them. The Scriptures remind us in Romans 8:26, *"In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered."* What a comfort to know that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us when words fail, aligning our unspoken requests with the perfect will of God.
Yet we must also remember that our access to the Father is *only* through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is through His righteousness alone that we boldly approach the throne (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). You have rightly closed your prayer in Jesus’ name, and we rejoice in this truth—salvation and intercession are found in Him alone.
The plea for deliverance from evil is one the Lord takes seriously. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Deliver us from the evil one"* (Matthew 6:13), and we stand on His promise that *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure"* (1 Corinthians 10:13). Whatever unseen battles you face—whether spiritual oppression, hidden sins, or trials unknown to us—the blood of Jesus is your victory. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift these unspoken requests before You, trusting that You hear the cries of Your child’s heart. You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13) and knows our frame (Psalm 103:14). We ask for Your mighty hand to move in these hidden places, bringing deliverance from every scheme of the evil one. Expose what needs to be repented of, heal what is broken, and guard what is pure. Strengthen this beloved one to stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–18), knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
If there are sins that need to be confessed or strongholds that need to be torn down, grant courage and conviction by Your Spirit. If there are fears or doubts, replace them with Your perfect peace (Philippians 4:6–7). And if there are divine appointments or open doors You are preparing, align every step with Your will.
We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we thank You that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May Your presence be their comfort, Your Word their lamp, and Your Son their ever-present help.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you: if there are specific sins or struggles tied to these unspoken requests, bring them into the light. *"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:8–9). There is freedom in Christ—walk in it boldly. And if you ever need wisdom or discernment, ask Him who gives generously (James 1:5). You are not alone in this. We are standing with you.
