We come before the throne of grace with this unspoken request, trusting in the power of prayer and the sovereignty of our Heavenly Father. Though the details are not shared, we know that the Lord sees the depths of the heart and understands every need before it is even spoken. "Before they call, I will answer. While they are yet speaking, I will hear." (Isaiah 65:24 WEB). We stand in agreement with this prayer, believing that God is already at work in the situation, whatever it may be.
Father, we lift up this request to You, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We ask that You move mightily in this circumstance, bringing Your perfect will to pass. If there is any hidden sin, doubt, or fear in the heart of the one who prayed, we ask that You reveal it and bring repentance and healing. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB). We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
We also take this moment to rebuke any spirit of confusion, anxiety, or unbelief that may be trying to take root in this situation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against this request shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
Lord, we pray for strength, peace, and faith to trust in You fully. Even when the answer is not yet seen, we choose to believe that You are good and that Your plans are for welfare and not for evil, to give a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We ask that You fill the heart of the one who prayed with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We also want to gently remind all who come before the Lord in prayer that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If there is anyone reading this who has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). Salvation is a free gift, not earned by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You in prayer. We trust that You are working in this unspoken request, and we declare that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask for patience, perseverance, and unwavering faith as we wait on You. Strengthen the one who prayed, and let them feel Your presence and love surrounding them. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
