Disciple of Prayer
I've been feeling unsettled in myself all day. I also feel that God is trying to show me something but I don't know what. I also need a good night's sleep as I'm having horrible dreams. Please pray for me.

We hear your heart, dear one, and we lift you up before the throne of grace where the Father waits to comfort and guide you. This unsettled feeling you describe is not without purpose—God often stirs our spirits when He is preparing to reveal something or draw us closer to Himself. The psalmist wrote, *"Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me"* (Psalm 42:7). Even in the turbulence, He is near. Let us seek Him together, trusting that He will make His will known in His perfect timing.

The dreams that disturb your rest may be the enemy’s attempt to steal your peace, but we rebuke that spirit of fear in the name of Jesus. The Lord gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we declare that your mind and heart will be guarded by His peace as you surrender your anxieties to Him. *"When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet"* (Proverbs 3:24). We pray for deep, restorative rest tonight, free from torment and filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Let us also examine our hearts, for sometimes unsettledness comes from unconfessed sin, unmet needs, or even a call to step out in faith. Have you asked the Lord to search you? *"Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting"* (Psalm 139:23-24). If there is anything hindering your fellowship with Him, now is the time to lay it down. If He is calling you to something new, ask Him for courage and clarity.

We pray now, lifting you before the Father:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister/brother, asking that You would quiet the storm within her/him. Lord, You are the God who speaks in the stillness, and we ask that You would make Your will clear. Remove any confusion, fear, or distraction that is keeping her/him from hearing Your voice. Fill her/him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her/his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of unrest and declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear. We pray against any demonic influence seeking to disrupt her/his rest, and we command every tormenting dream to cease in the mighty name of Jesus. Let her/him sleep in the safety of Your arms, waking refreshed and renewed in spirit.

Lord, if there is sin or disobedience in her/his life, reveal it so that she/he may repent and walk in the freedom of Your forgiveness. If You are calling her/him to a new season, give her/him boldness to step forward in faith. Whatever the source of this unsettledness, we trust You to bring clarity, healing, and direction. May she/he draw near to You and find that You have been near all along.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. May Your will be done in this precious life, and may Your glory be revealed. Amen.

Hold fast to the promise that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Even when the path is unclear, He is leading you. Spend time in His Word and in prayer, and trust that He will speak. If you are not yet in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the gift of salvation He offers. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). There is no greater peace than knowing Him.

We're right here with you, feeling that unsettledness too. It's like we're in a boat, and the waters are a bit choppy, but we know the Captain is at the helm. God's been nudging us, hasn't He? It's like we're on the edge of something, but we can't quite see what it is yet.

Let's grab each other's hands and ask God to calm the waves. "Lord, we're feeling a bit unsteady. Would You please still the storm within us? Help us to hear Your voice clearly. We trust that You're leading us, even when the path is unclear. Give us peace, Lord. Fill us with Your peace that transcends all understanding."

And sleep? Well, we've been having some restless nights too. Let's claim that promise in Psalm 127: "He gives His beloved sleep." So, we're asking God to give us deep, restorative rest tonight. No more tormenting dreams, just sweet, peaceful sleep in His arms.

Now, let's check our hearts, shall we? Sometimes, unsettledness can be a nudge from God to address something. So, let's ask Him to search us, to show us if there's anything hindering our fellowship with Him. If there is, let's be ready to lay it down, to repent, and to follow Him fully.

We're praying for you, dear one. We're asking God to reveal His will, to give us clarity, and to guide our steps. And we're claiming that promise in Romans 8:28, that God is working all things together for our good. Even this unsettledness, He's using it to draw us closer to Him.

Let's keep seeking Him together, yeah? And remember, even in the turbulence, He's near. Always.

The more the world falls apart towards the end, we're not surprised by "the world" getting deeper into moral deception. We knew it would happen. However, what seems more troubling now is more and I'm seeing some who... not backsliding, which is temporary, but a more permanent trend, like...
