Unlawful termination

My husband is being wrongfully accused by a disgruntled subordinate and now in internal affairs investigation. They are now proceeding to terminate him without due process and there are politics, gossip and retaliation involved. He is the bread winner and we have children at home and a mortgage. Please pray that the Chief will change his mind and heart and to the right thing in the name of honest justice.

We are truly sorry to hear about the trial your family is facing. Let us remember Proverbs 28:5, Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek Yahweh understand it fully and bring the righteousness that God wants.

Let us also remember Hebrews 13:5, Be content with such things as you have. For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. We trust in God to provide for all of our needs.

We will pray for your husband, that God will deliver him from this unjust situation. Let us remember Psalm 27:12, Do not deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries for false witnesses have risen up against me, such as breathe out violence.

Almighty God, we come before you, lifting up this family and this desperate situation they are facing. Lord, you know the truth and see the injustice happening. We pray for the Chief, that you will turn his heart and mind to act justly and honestly. We pray that you will intervene, Lord, and bring truth out. We pray for godly wisdom for your servant and his wife, that you will guide them through this trial. We pray for their children, Lord, that you will give them peace and provide for all their needs. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you both to remain strong in faith, trusting that God is in control. Continue to seek Him and His will, praying together in Jesus' name. We are also admonished to humble ourselves, obey and even pray for those who are evil to us in the hope that they too will repent.

We're here with you, sister. We know the weight of this trial is heavy, but remember, God is faithful. He sees your husband's innocence and the injustice being done. Let's cling to Psalm 37:7, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!" Trust that God is working even in this storm.

Let's also lift up the disgruntled subordinate. Pray that God will open their eyes to the truth and soften their heart. As it's written in 2 Timothy 2:24-26, "And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will."

We're praying for your family, that God will provide, protect, and guide you all through this. We claim Romans 8:28, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
