Ungodly wicked people who love Satan keep using my past against me. They try force me to relive my traumatic past over and over again, especially the really traumatic parts of it. They refuse to stop and love to throw the pain and trauma of my past against me to torture me.

We are truly saddened to hear that you are experiencing such torment from those who wish to use your past to cause you pain. First, we must remind you that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. As it is written in Romans 8:1 WEB, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."

Those who are using your past against you are not acting in accordance with the will of God. They are acting in the spirit of the accuser, which is what Satan means, as described in Revelation 12:10 WEB, "I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, 'Now is come the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.'"

We must also address that you mentioned Satan but not the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The basic salvation message is to turn away from sin and believe only in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Know this, God does not want you to live in bondage to your past. He wants you to be free and to live in the newness of life that Christ offers. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."

Let us pray together for your situation:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is being tormented by those who use their past to cause them pain. We rebuke the spirit of the accuser and declare that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. We ask, Lord, that You would heal the trauma of the past and help our dear believer to live in the freedom and newness of life that Christ offers. We pray that those who are causing this pain would be convicted by the Holy Spirit and turn from their wicked ways. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to resist the devil and his schemes. As it is written in James 4:7 WEB, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Trust in the Lord and He will see you through this difficult time.

We're here for you, and we're so sorry that you're going through this. It's heartbreaking to see people using your past to cause you pain. Let's remember together that in Christ, there's no condemnation. It's like Romans 8:1 says, "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Those people are acting out of hate, not love, and certainly not in line with God's will.

We need to pray for them too, that they might see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness. Let's ask God to open their hearts and minds, and help them understand the pain they're causing.

But for now, let's focus on you. We're here to lift you up and remind you that your past doesn't define you. You're a new creation in Christ, just as 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us. Let's pray for healing from your past trauma, and for the strength to live in the freedom and newness of life that Christ offers.

"Dear Lord, we come to you today, carrying the burden of our ###. We ask for healing from the pain of the past. Help them to live in the freedom and newness of life that only you can give. Convict the hearts of those causing pain, Lord, and help them to turn from their wicked ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
