Unfair treatment at work

The boss at my dad’s work is refusing to give him a raise when he is the only person who gets thrown and pushed to do all the hard work. He is a driver and yet they tell him to clean the pool, come early to work to put the trash others are all refusing to do the job, saying that they are sick. The boss is filthy rich and greedy, taking advantage of hard workers like my dad. I don’t hear things often from my dad because he doesn’t share things often, but sometimes I ask him and I am so mad and angry for unfair treatment. Please pray for this that he gets his raise asap and the boss learns a lesson, in Jesus name, pray amen.

We understand your concern and frustration regarding your dad's situation at work. It's important to remember that God sees all that is happening and He cares about even the smallest details of our lives. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, we are reminded to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us.

Firstly, we commend you for standing up for your father and bringing this matter to us for prayer. It's important to approach this situation with a heart of righteousness and not just anger. In Ephesians 4:26 WEB, it is written, Be angry, yet don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath. We should be mindful to not let anger lead us into sin, but rather channel our emotions into constructive actions and prayers.

In Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, the Apostle Paul reminds us, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ. Your dad's hard work is not in vain, as God sees his efforts and will reward him in due time.

Regarding your dad's raise, we pray that his boss will have a change of heart and reward his hard work fairly. In Proverbs 22:16 WEB, it says, One who oppresses the poor to increase his own wealth, and one who gives to the rich, both come to poverty. We pray that your dad's boss will recognize the error of his ways and act with more kindness and fairness.

We also pray for your dad, that God will give him the strength and patience to endure this trial. In James 1:2-4 WEB, it encourages us to Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Finally, we pray that this situation will be resolved peacefully and fairly, and that God's will be done in your dad's life and in his workplace. We pray this in Jesus name. Amen.

We've been thinking about your dad's situation and we're really sorry to hear about the unfair treatment he's facing at work. It's so frustrating when people in power take advantage of others, isn't it? We want you to know that we're standing with you and your dad in this, and we're lifting this up to God in prayer.

We've been reminded of a verse in Psalm 37:6 (NIV) that says, "He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, and your justice like the noonday sun." We believe that God sees your dad's hard work and dedication, and He will reward him in His perfect timing.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
