Understanding the devils tactics

When we see a certain "trend" occurring, and everyone is "jumping on the bandwagon" and following it, I don't think it's just by chance.There's a reason.because notice most of the trends have something in common__they're not in sync with the Bible,and Gods laws. Like, how many times have I heard people sound enthusiastic about astrology,"we think alike because we're both{fill in sign'}"I'm like that because I'm a {fill in sign}It catches on, until people feel "out of the loop"if they DON'T get into it.It's the I"in thing".How about yoga?When you look up about a public figure that sounds interesting, what do you hear about them."In her spare time she goes to yoga classes."All over, even on tv commercials,you see some lady in a yoga postion, practicing it.Again, it becomes "trendy."Then reincarnation. It sounds "cute" to say, "In another life, I did this and that".The reason I'm afraid to swim is I must have drowned in one of my "past lives."{The Bible says, "it is appointed unto men ONCE to die, but after this the judgement"}There are other ways this "group think" catches hold ,but my point is,check it out.The devil is called the prince of the power of the air.But air doesn't mean, if a breeze kicks up, it's from the devil.It means the thought patterns. Now in the past,before tv and computers,the devil would have to mislead people individually.But now, with modern communications, I think it makes his work easier."Father forgive them for they know not what they do."We witness to them to get them out of this. We pray that they do. In the meantime, I'd say to fight the devil, be aware of his tactics. And I think this is one of them. Yes, it can happen with us too, but the devil has to be more "sneaky", and get us individually,and like you say,God brings us to our senses. I was mentioning with the unsaved, these "trends" nowadays,yoga,astrology, going to psychics,focusing on Megan Markle so much you don't focus on God,I think with modern communications,and the unsaved not realizing,he uses these "trends" to catch great groups of people.

Yes! "The word of God is the lamp to guide us and a light fot our path" the blood of Jesus pleads mercy for us. Thanks for enghtening us about the activitiess that seems to look good but do not focus on God. Martha
