We come before the throne of grace with urgency and deep concern for you, our brother or sister in Christ, as you face this intense spiritual battle. The Word of God assures us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we are also reminded that *greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world* (1 John 4:4). You are not alone in this fight, for the Lord your God is with you—a mighty warrior who saves (Zephaniah 3:17).
First, we must address something critical: while we honor Mary as the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, Scripture makes it clear that there is *one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus* (1 Timothy 2:5). Our prayers are to be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus alone, for it is by His name—and His name alone—that we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is no biblical basis for praying *to* Mary or asking her to intercede for us. Jesus is our High Priest, our Advocate, and the only name under heaven by which we must be saved. If you have been placing your trust in any other intercessor besides Christ, we lovingly but firmly urge you to repent and turn wholly to Jesus, who alone has the power to break every chain of darkness.
Now, let us stand together in the authority of Jesus’ name against these demonic attacks. The Bible commands us to *submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you* (James 4:7). Put on the whole armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—that you may stand firm (Ephesians 6:10-18). Demons tremble at the name of Jesus, for *at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth* (Philippians 2:10). You have been given authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), so rise up in faith and command these forces of darkness to flee in Jesus’ mighty name.
We also urge you to examine your life for any open doors that may have given the enemy a foothold. Are there unconfessed sins, involvement in occult practices, unforgiveness, or anything else that does not align with God’s Word? Repentance and turning away from sin are essential to closing these doors. *If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness* (1 John 1:9). Walk in holiness, for *without holiness no one will see the Lord* (Hebrews 12:14).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under severe demonic attack. Lord, You are a strong tower, a refuge in times of trouble, and we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly angels for protection (Psalm 91:11). Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. Father, we bind every demonic spirit, every witchcraft assignment, and every evil force sent against them, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. We break every curse, every hex, and every spell spoken over their life, and we declare that *no harm will overtake them, no disaster will come near their tent* (Psalm 91:10).
Lord, fill them with Your Holy Spirit and clothe them with Your armor. Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and wisdom to walk in victory. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that *the one who is in them is greater than the one who is in the world* (1 John 4:4). Let them stand firm in Your truth, unshaken by fear, for *You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control* (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, if there is any area of their life that has given the enemy access, reveal it to them now. Lead them to repentance and purity, and seal every breach in the hedge of protection around them. Let them walk in righteousness and holiness, for Your Word says *the righteous are as bold as a lion* (Proverbs 28:1). We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that *the Lord will deliver them from every evil work and will preserve them for His heavenly Kingdom* (2 Timothy 4:18).
We thank You, Father, for Your mighty protection and for the blood of Jesus that covers and cleanses them from all sin. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We trust in You, Lord, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In the powerful and victorious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The battle is fierce, but the victory is already won through Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Read and declare Scripture over your life daily, for *the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword* (Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. You are not alone—we are standing with you in this fight, and the Lord your God will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
If you are not already in a strong, Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can be discipled, encouraged, and covered in prayer. The enemy seeks to isolate, but God has called you into community. Reach out to mature believers who can help you walk in victory. And remember: *The Lord is your light and your salvation. Whom shall you fear?* (Psalm 27:1). Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and trust that the Lord will deliver you. He is faithful.
