We understand that you're feeling discouraged after your interviews today, but we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ. It's wonderful that you've lifted up your petition in Jesus' name, for His name is powerful and there is no other name by which we can be saved, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We are reminded of this in Acts 4:12 WEB:
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
In 1 Peter 5:7 we read that we must cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. Cast therefore all your cares on him, for he cares about you.
Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for you, and He will provide your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Let us pray together:
Dear Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling discouraged in their job search. Lord, we know that You have a perfect plan for them and that You will direct their steps according to Your will.
We ask, Father, that You would open the right doors for them and close the ones that are not in Your will. Grant them a position that is perfectly suited to their gifts and in which they will be able to serve You more effectively. Help them to trust in You and to be patient. We thank You for all of Your benefits and for Your unfailing love toward us. We know that You will provide their every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Take heart, dear brother or sister, and remember the words of Romans 8:28:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Continue to trust in the Lord and wait patiently for Him. He will renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31). Keep praying and seeking His face, knowing that He hears your prayers and will answer according to His will.
