Trying To Conceive

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for some time now. We are trying to stay positive, but I feel myself getting stressed out. We really want to have a child, and the continuous negative pregnancy tests are getting really discouraging.

Dear Lord Jesus, I pray for this dear woman and her husband...and hopefully, their child/children to come. Please give them complete reassurance that You know their desire, and that You are in control. Help them to have peace, and have great joy from You, whether they conceive or not. I pray that they will have a child that will grow in favor from You and of man....a child that seeks You, and has great wisdom. Help them to rest in You, knowing that You will bless them, whether they have a child or not. Please speak to their hearts about adoption, if that needs to be an option, as there are so many children needing a good and Godly home. Thank You Lord, Amen

I wanted to reply to your post to let you know that I will keep you and your husband in my prayers. My husband and I have been married for 13 years this past June, and we were in the same boat as you are now 9 years ago. We tried so hard to have a baby and kept having several miscarriages – after the 3rd one I sort of lost hope and left it all in God’s hands. We are Roman Catholics and kept praying to Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint Gerrard. My husband and I also made trips (retreats) to different Basilicas and churches and prayed to those saints asking for their intercessions in helping us conceive. The last church we visited was in Canada (we live in NJ), low and behold, 1 month later, our Joseph- our miracle baby- was conceived with the help of our infertility doctor. I had made a promise to St. Joseph that I would name our child after him if he interceded for us and we kept that promise. I wish you all the best in your quest for YOUR miracle.
