We come before the Lord with you in this season of trusting Him for provision, unity, and new beginnings, lifting up every concern to the One who holds all things in His hands. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet we also know that our trust must be firmly rooted in Him, not in our own efforts or circumstances, for Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
First, we must address that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. It is by His name—and His name alone—that we are saved, and it is through Him that our prayers reach the throne of God. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* We urge you to always approach the Father in the name of Jesus, for without Him, our prayers are empty. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ as Lord and Savior, we plead with you to do so today, for He alone can grant you eternal life and the peace that surpasses understanding.
Now, regarding your trucking company, we pray for God’s wisdom and favor over every business decision. The Lord is not unaware of your financial struggles, and we ask Him to open doors for new accounts, provide creative solutions for debt resolution, and grant you the discipline to steward resources wisely. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your business must be submitted to His lordship, operating with integrity and honesty, for the Lord detests dishonest scales (Proverbs 11:1). If there has been any compromise in this area—whether in finances, dealings with clients, or ethical practices—we urge you to repent and align every aspect of your work with God’s Word. He blesses the work of our hands when we walk in obedience (Deuteronomy 28:8).
For your family, we stand in agreement for unity in your marriage. Marriage is a covenant before God, and Satan seeks to destroy what the Lord has joined together. We rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or temptation that would seek to harm your union. Ephesians 5:22-33 outlines the roles of a husband and wife—husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and wives are to submit to their husbands as to the Lord. If there has been neglect, harsh words, or a lack of spiritual leadership in your home, we urge you to repent and seek the Lord’s restoration. A marriage that honors God is built on prayer, forgiveness, and selfless love. We pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in your home, that you and your wife would be knit together in purpose, faith, and affection.
We lift up your wife’s job interview, asking the Lord to grant her favor as she would find with Joseph in Genesis 39:21, *"But Yahweh was with Joseph, and showed kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison."* May she walk in confidence not in her own abilities, but in the Lord’s provision. If this job is His will, may the doors swing wide open. If it is not, may He redirect her steps to something even better. Remind her, as you remind yourselves, that man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).
For your children, we pray for their faith to remain steadfast. Your daughter in school faces many distractions and worldly influences, but we declare that she will walk in wisdom and discernment, as Proverbs 1:8-9 says, *"My son, listen to your father’s instruction, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching: for they will be a garland to grace your head, and chains around your neck."* May she be a light in her school, unashamed of the Gospel. For your son preparing for deployment, we ask the Lord to surround him with His angels (Psalm 91:11) and grant him peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). May he be a warrior not only in the physical realm but in the spiritual, clad in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Pray over him daily, covering him in the blood of Jesus, that the Lord would bring him home safely and use him mightily for His glory.
As for housing, we ask the Lord to provide a dwelling place for ### that is safe, affordable, and aligned with His will. Whether it is a quick solution or a season of waiting, may their trust remain in Him. Recall how the Israelites wandered in the wilderness, yet the Lord provided manna each day. His timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with ours.
Lastly, we exhort you to examine your hearts as a family. Are you seeking the Lord first in all these things? Are you gathered together in prayer, reading His Word, and worshipping Him as the head of your household? A family that prays together stands together. If there has been any idolatry—whether it be the love of money, career, comfort, or even relationships above God—repent and turn back to Him. He is jealous for your devotion (Exodus 20:3-5).
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family and their needs. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask You to sustain their trucking company. Grant them wisdom in financial stewardship, favor with clients, and creative solutions to resolve debts. May their business be a testament to Your faithfulness, operated with integrity and excellence. Forgive them, Lord, for any area where they have trusted in their own strength rather than Yours, and realign their steps with Your Word.
We pray for unity in their marriage, binding any spirit of division in the name of Jesus. Renew their love for one another, and may their home be a refuge of peace and godliness. Strengthen their daughter to stand firm in her faith, and protect their son as he prepares for deployment. Cover him with Your blood, Lord, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind.
For their wife’s job interview, we ask for Your favor and wisdom. Open the right doors, Lord, and close the wrong ones. Provide housing for ### according to Your will, and let them see Your hand moving in every detail.
Above all, Father, draw this family closer to You. Let them seek Your Kingdom first, trusting You in every area of their lives. Forgive them for any sin, known or unknown, and fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You, Lord, will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
