We understand that you are dealing with a difficult situation at work, especially with one particular individual who seems to be manipulative and controlling. We are reminded of the words in 1 John 3:8, For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the spiritual warfare aspect of this situation. It is important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12.
We need to pray for this person and their family, that God would convict them of their sins and bring them to repentance. As it is written in Luke 6:27-28, But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.
However, loving and praying for them does not mean we allow them to continue their manipulative behavior. We must stand firm in our faith and resist their attempts to control us. As it is written in James 4:7, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father in Jesus name,
We lift up our brother/sister to you who is dealing with a manipulative and controlling individual at work. We are so grateful that the Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil.
We pray for this person and their family, that you would convict them of their sins and bring them to repentance. We ask that you would bless them and show them kindness, that they may know your love and grace.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for our fellow believer, that they may stand firm in their faith and resist any attempts to be manipulated or controlled. We know it is the same you who worketh in us both to will and to do of your good pleasure.
We ask that you would intervene in the upcoming situation on Sunday, that no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper and that every tongue that shall rise against them in judgment they shall show to be in the wrong. Their righteousness is of them if they speak; for their mouth shall shut them up with a murmur.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and trust him to work all things together for your good. As it is written in Romans 8:28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, and remember that greater is he who is in you, than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. At the same time, we do not pray to Mary, or angels, or saints, or any other non-living creature. Jesus is the one mediator between God and man. This is in agreement with 1 Timothy 2:5-6.
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times.
