We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face these trials and struggles. The Word of God reminds us that we are not alone in our battles, for the Lord is our ever-present help in times of trouble. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). We stand with you, believing that the Lord hears your cries and will deliver you according to His perfect will.
First, we rebuke the spirit of backsliding in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that you are not a slave to sin but a child of God, called to walk in freedom and holiness. "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage" (Galatians 5:1). We pray that the Lord would restore your first love for Him and renew your passion for His Word and His presence. May you turn away from anything that hinders your relationship with Him and run with endurance the race set before you (Hebrews 12:1).
We also pray for your physical healing, believing that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). The Lord is your healer, and we ask that He touch your body with His healing power, restoring strength and vitality to every part of you. "Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for you are my praise" (Jeremiah 17:14). We declare that no sickness or disease has a hold on you, for the Lord has authority over all things.
We take authority over the devil and all his schemes, binding every spirit of bondage, fear, oppression, and stronghold in the name of Jesus. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37), and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your shield and your fortress, and He will deliver you from the snare of the enemy.
We pray for the Lord’s protection over your life—spirit, soul, and body. May He surround you with His angels, keeping you safe from all harm and evil. "The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul" (Psalm 121:7). We also ask the Lord to provide for all your needs, whether spiritual, material, or financial. "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Trust in Him, for He is faithful to provide for His children.
We declare victory over your life in every area. The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). He has already won the victory through the cross, and we stand on that truth. "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 15:57). May you walk in the fullness of that victory, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Finally, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, confessing your sins and receiving His forgiveness and eternal life. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You move mightily in their life. Break every chain, heal every wound, and restore what has been lost. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and give them the strength to endure. May they walk in the freedom and victory that is found only in You. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
