We hear your request and lift it before the Lord with hearts full of faith and trust in His perfect timing. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 37:5, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this." We know that every detail of our lives, including travel plans and applications, is under His sovereign care. Proverbs 16:9 tells us, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps." So we stand in agreement with you, believing that God is already at work in this situation, preparing the way for His will to be done.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the plans You have for each of us, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Lord, we ask that You would go before our brother/sister in this matter of their travel application. We pray that You would open doors that no one can shut and close doors that should not be opened (Revelation 3:7-8). Speed up the process, Lord, and let every authority involved act with wisdom, efficiency, and favor toward this application.
We also ask that You would grant our brother/sister peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait (Philippians 4:6-7). Let them not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present their requests to You. We rebuke any spirit of delay, confusion, or frustration that may be trying to hinder this process, and we declare that this matter is in Your hands, Lord.
Lord, we pray that this journey would not only be for personal gain but also for Your glory. Whether this trip is for work, ministry, family, or another purpose, we ask that You would use it to advance Your kingdom and draw hearts closer to You. Prepare our brother/sister for the tasks ahead, and let them be a light for You wherever they go (Matthew 5:16).
We also want to gently remind our brother/sister that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20), and while we may travel to different places on earth, our hearts should always be set on things above (Colossians 3:1-2). If this travel is part of Your plan, we trust that You will make it clear and provide everything needed for the journey.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that You hear us and that Your will shall be done. Amen.
