Heavenly Father,

I come to You today with a heavy heart. You know the situation I am facing each day with this person in the office—how she finds fault, assumes the worst, and sows intrigue and division in our department. Lord, You are the God of truth and justice. I humbly ask that You expose every hidden agenda, every manipulative word, and every twisted story she uses to deceive and influence our department head.

Shine Your light on all darkness, and reveal her true intentions. Enlighten our department head with wisdom, discernment, and clarity to see through the sweet talk and recognize the spirit of division and manipulation. Let no weapon formed against me or my colleagues prosper. Cover us with Your protection and peace.

Help me, Lord, to respond not with anger but with grace. Guard my heart from bitterness, and give me strength to endure each day with patience and integrity. Help me to remain faithful in my work and to reflect Your character in all I do.

I trust that Your justice will prevail, and that Your will shall be done. May truth rise, and may Your peace reign in our workplace.

Firstly, it is wonderful that this request is made in Jesus' name. It is only by His name that we have access to God. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB.

When dealing with toxic behavior in the workplace, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.

It is crucial to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 WEB. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:14-17 WEB.

We pray that God will expose any hidden agendas and manipulative words, as you have requested. God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5 WEB. We ask God that the truth will come to light. Let no one deceive you with empty words. Ephesians 5:6 WEB.

We also pray for your department head, that God will grant them wisdom, discernment, and clarity to see through any deception. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5 WEB.

It is important to respond with grace and patience, as you have acknowledged. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 WEB.
