Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with Marqia. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and without Him, our prayers lack the power and authority they need. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for He alone can bring true healing and restoration.
Now, regarding the toxic energy and negativity you’ve described, we recognize that relationships can become burdened by sin, unforgiveness, and worldly influences. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* If there are patterns of sin—such as bitterness, unrepentant anger, or even sexual immorality—these must be confronted and repented of before true healing can occur. The Lord desires holiness in our relationships, especially those that are meant to reflect Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33).
We must also ask: Is this relationship honoring to God? Are you and Marqia both believers in Christ, committed to pursuing Him first? The Bible is clear that Christians should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If either of you is not walking with the Lord, that must be addressed before any restoration can take place. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and if this relationship is leading toward that, it must be built on Christ, not just emotions or circumstances.

If there has been sexual sin (fornication), it must be confessed and repented of, for the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:18, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* True restoration begins with repentance and a return to God’s design.
Lastly, we urge you to seek godly counsel—perhaps from a pastor or mature Christian couple—who can help guide you both in aligning this relationship with Scripture. The Lord desires to bring healing, but it must be on His terms, not ours. Trust in Him, surrender this relationship to His will, and watch how He works.
