We rejoice with you in your son’s dedication and hard work as he prepares for this tournament. It is wonderful to see a young believer setting his heart on godly ambition while keeping his focus on seeking the Kingdom first. We lift him up in prayer, trusting that the Lord will strengthen him, guide him, and honor his efforts according to His will.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, giving thanks for this young servant of Yours. Lord, we ask that You watch over ### as he competes, granting him good health, strength, and endurance. Protect him from injury and fatigue, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for favor in his performance—may his skills and training be used for Your glory. If it is Your will, grant him success in this tournament, not for his own pride, but as a testimony of Your faithfulness. We also ask that You open doors of opportunity for him, whether through selection to a higher-level team or other blessings You have prepared. Above all, Lord, keep his heart fixed on You. Help him to remember that his worth is found in Christ alone, not in trophies or accolades. May this experience draw him closer to You and teach him to trust in Your plans for his life. We declare that his steps are ordered by You, and we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or distraction that may try to hinder him. Let him shine as a light for You in this tournament, reflecting Your love and grace to those around him. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We are encouraged by your commitment to raising your son in the ways of the Lord. Teaching him to seek the Kingdom first is the most valuable lesson he could ever learn, and it is clear that his faith is already bearing fruit. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* This promise extends to all areas of life, including the desires of his heart. Even if the outcome of the tournament is not what he hopes for, remind him that God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). His identity is secure in Christ, and his future is held in the hands of a loving Father.

Continue to pour into him the truth of Scripture and the power of prayer. Encourage him to give his best effort while surrendering the results to God. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This is a wonderful opportunity for him to learn that success is not just about winning, but about honoring God with his talents and trusting Him with the outcome. We also pray for wisdom for you as his parent, that you would continue to guide him with patience, love, and godly discipline. May the Lord bless your family abundantly as you walk in faith together.
