Diane you might say a prayer something like this:
Lord, forgive me of all my sins and cleanse me of all unrighteousness (1 Jn. 1:9). Blot out all my transgressions and wash me throughly from my iniquities and cleanse me from all my sins (Ps. 51:1,2). Come into my heart and life and help me to be the person You want me to be (Rev. 3:20). Create within me a clean heart and a new spirit (Ps. 51:10; Jn. 3:5). Put Your Holy Spirit in me so I can walk in all Your holy ways (Ezek. 36:26,27). Take all the darkness out of my life(1 Jn. 1:6) and help me to walk in your ways as an obedient and God-fearing woman so I can love You and serve You with all my heart and soul (Deut. 10:12,13;Jer. 32:40; Matt. 22:37). I want to live a righteous and obedient lifestyle so I can benefit from Your favor and the blessings of health and success (Deut. 11:13-21; Josh. 1:8; Prov. 3:8; 9:11; Rom. 6:18). Implant Your holy and righteous laws in my heart and mind (Heb. 10:16). I surrender my heart and life to You, Lord (Ps. 86:11). Help me to be a fruitful servant who reaps the benefits of holiness and has a right relationship with You (Rom. 6:22,23; 1 Jn. 1:7), in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray, amen
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin." 1 Jn. 1:7
