Sabitha, I know what it feels like to not want to answer the phone because of what we fear on the other end of the line. I am going through the same situation that you are right now. A business that is struggling, way to much debt, bills that I can't pay, and praying to the Lord for His help. My mind keeps going to the scripture that tells us He has not given us a spirit of fear. Sometimes we have to face that fear and rely on Him to get us past what we fear most. I have kept so many letters unopened for fear of what they might contain, not facing the situation. If He is to help us with our problems, then we have to fully trust Him and start to face these fears. I feel for you with these creditors and I will continue to pray for help with them. May God bless you Sabitha, I know that He will, we just have to keep the faith in Him and in His provisions for us. May we both have the strength and courage to keep walking in faith, facing our fears, and trusting in the fact that He will see us through. One last thing Sabitha, do you remember the story of the three Hebrew children that were thrown in the fire, God did not blow out the flames or miraculously take them from the fire, He stepped right in there with them, kept them safe from the flames, and used this to demonstrate His power and love to a non-believing ruler. Take care Sabitha, and may you see Him at work in your life today.
