God’s mighty power in Christ saves and transforms sinners, so trust Him completely in every need.
A Glorious Rest
True rest is found only beyond this world, so let go of earthly pursuits and seek the eternal peace promised.
Fresh Grace Confidently Expected
God’s unchanging love ensures you will always receive new strength, joy, and grace when you need it.
We hear your weariness in this request and we join you in bringing it before our Father together in Jesus' name. The exhaustion of parenting, especially when you are carrying the load alone and facing practical needs like a ride and a difficult bedtime, is something the Lord sees and cares about deeply.

We are encouraged that you called upon Jesus, for it is through His name we have access to God and find rest and help. Scripture reminds us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. And also, He gives power to the faint. To him who has no might he increases strength. Isaiah 40:29. When you feel you have nothing left, He promises to be your strength for tomorrow and for each day that follows. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We also lift up your son with you. Children are a heritage of Yahweh, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3. We know bedtime struggles can be so draining, and we pray the Lord will give you wisdom and patience to guide him with gentle consistency. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6. Establishing a calm and predictable routine, speaking peace over him, and praying with him before sleep can help his heart settle and cooperate, and we pray the Lord will soften his heart to obey and rest well tonight.

We also bring your need for a ride and for provision before the Lord, trusting His promise that, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. We pray He will open a door and move someone to help you, and we encourage you to humbly reach out to family, a trusted friend, or your church family to share this need, for we are called to bear one another's burdens. Galatians 6:2. Do not hesitate to ask for help, as God often provides through His people.

We pray together now for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear parent to You. You see the exhaustion and the weight of this week ahead. We ask You to pour out Your strength and sustaining grace for tonight, for tomorrow, and for every day that follows. Grant a peaceful evening and let her son cooperate and go to bed earlier with a calm and obedient spirit. Give him restful sleep and give his parent true rest as well. Lord, provide a safe and timely ride for where they need to go tomorrow, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard her heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. Help her to cast all her anxiety on You because You care for her. 1 Peter 5:7. Renew her strength like the morning and remind her she is not alone. We thank You that You hear us when we call on Jesus. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to rest in the Lord tonight as much as you are able, to take one day at a time, and to keep bringing every worry to Him in prayer. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6. He is faithful to carry you through this week.

We hear how exhausted you are right now, and how much you are holding for both yourself and your son. Wanting a calmer bedtime tonight, strength for tomorrow, and a ride to get where you need to go are real and pressing needs, and we are praying for you in all of them.

You did a good and faithful thing by turning to Jesus when you felt depleted. That itself is a strength, and so is the way you keep showing up to care for your son even on very little sleep. When we are this tired it is easy to only see what we lack, but you already have perseverance and love that are carrying you through a hard week.

For tonight and tomorrow, if you can, try not to carry the ride need alone overnight. Even one brief text or call tonight to a trusted friend, family member, neighbor, or someone from church to ask directly about a ride tomorrow can give you clarity sooner and help you rest. For bedtime, keeping things simple and predictable when you are tired often helps more than trying to make it perfect, a short, calm routine and a little extra patience for both of you.

We are asking God to meet you with rest and help in these next hours.

Jesus, we lift this tired parent to You tonight. Please bring a peaceful bedtime for their son and real rest for them both. Provide strength for tomorrow and the days ahead, and open a way for the ride they need. Let them feel Your nearness and care as they keep going. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard, and your weariness is not hidden from the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps. To be spent and to have no might left is a place where many of the Lord's people have stood, and it is there that His promise shines most brightly.

Human strength, even at its best, will spend itself in due time. The strong man wearies, the young man faints, for all strength apart from God is derived and measurable and must come to an end. But the strength of God is inexhaustible and eternal. Therefore the word of the Lord comes to you, faint as you are, that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, and that to them that have no might He increases strength. And again it is written, As thy days, so shall thy strength be. You need not have strength for the whole week in one hour. The Lord will give you strength as you need it, day by day, hour by hour. When there remains no strength in you, then fling yourself upon the Divine strength and lay hold upon it.

We will pray with you now to that end.

O Lord our God, who art the glory of our strength, look upon this weary parent who comes to Thee through Jesus Christ. Thou givest power to the faint, and Thou knowest the need of this night and of tomorrow. Grant, we beseech Thee, a quiet evening and that this dear child may cooperate and be led gently to sleep, that both parent and child may know Thy mercy which renews. Give our dear one strength for tomorrow and for every day that follows, not in the measure of nature but according to Thy promise, as days require. Provide, we pray, the help that is needed for the journey tomorrow, whether by a kind hand to give a ride or by Thine own providential opening of the way, for if Thou dost not help, where can help be found. Let this tired heart wait upon Thee and find its strength renewed, and let all the glory of that strength be Thine alone, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who died for the ungodly that we might have life and strength in Him. Amen.

Wait upon the Lord in prayer even in the small moments, and breathe a prayer for more strength whenever the burden feels beyond you. He is a very present help in trouble, and He will not suffer you to be tried beyond what He will enable you to bear. Look to Christ and consider Him, for from Him all true strength is fitly infused and wisely balanced.
