Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join you in prayer for your tongue, mouth and tonsils and we lift your anxious soul before our compassionate Father together in Jesus' name.

We hear your cry for healing and for peace, and that the white coating and white lesion would completely disappear and that you would be free from any cancer or tumor and able to speak freely again for His glory. We understand how discouraging it is when symptoms return after you felt healing had come, but we serve a God who does not grow weary and whose mercy is new every morning.

We pray for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, for it is only through Him we have access to You. We ask You to calm our friend's soul and to quiet fear with Your perfect peace. Lay Your healing hand upon their tongue, mouth and tonsils. We ask that You would cleanse the white coating from the sides of the tongue and cause the white lesion on the tonsils to disappear. We pray that every examination would show no cancer and no tumor, that all tissue would be healthy and whole. Restore their mouth so they can speak freely, eat, and praise You without pain or hindrance. Let this healing be for Your glory alone, that they may testify of Your goodness. Grant wisdom to the doctors and dentists who examine them and give them clear answers. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God as Healer. Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. He Himself says I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and by his wounds you were healed 1 Peter 2:24.

We also pray for the peace you requested for your soul. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you Psalm 55:22.

We encourage you to continue to bring this before the Lord daily with thanksgiving, trusting that He hears you, and also to continue to seek wise medical care, for God often works through the hands of physicians. Keep looking to Jesus, the Great Physician, not to the symptoms that come and go. Even when the white coating returned, He remains the same yesterday, today and forever. We pray you will be strengthened to speak freely again, not only in physical speech but in testimony of His mercy. We stand with you for complete healing and for lasting peace in Christ.

We are praying for you in this long stretch with your tongue, mouth and tonsils, and we hear how much you want both calm for your soul and real healing so you can speak freely again. It is especially hard when you thought the white coating was gone and then it returned. That kind of back and forth can leave you watching every change and feeling fearful about what it might mean.

When an illness lingers, it is normal to feel fragile and on edge, and to wonder if every new spot is a setback. That does not mean your faith has failed. It means you have been carrying this for a while and need steady care for your body and your heart together.

Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to stay closely connected to your doctor, an ENT or primary care clinician, and let them know the coating has returned and about the white lesion you are seeing. If you have not been seen recently, please make an appointment soon. Bringing a brief note of when symptoms appear, fade, and return can help them understand what is happening and guide next steps.

You are not alone as you wait, and we are bringing your concerns to the Lord with you.

Father, in Jesus name we lift up this dear one to You. Quiet their heart with Your nearness, ease their fear, and touch their tongue, mouth and tonsils with Your healing hand according to Your will and for Your glory. Give wisdom and clarity to those providing care, and grant rest and ease in speaking and daily life. Amen.

We have heard your petition and we carry it with you to the throne of grace, where Jesus our great High Priest ever lives to intercede.

You ask for a calm soul and for healing of the tongue, mouth and tonsils, and that all may be for His glory. This is a right and precious prayer. The Lord keeps in perfect peace, peace, peace, him whose mind is stayed upon Him, because he trusts in Him. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows surge around and duties press and fears multiply. That perfect peace is a present possession for the believer who looks to Christ.

We know how anxiety unfits the mind to meet its trial, and how it dishonors the Lord who has promised to care for His own. Therefore we exhort you to obey that gracious word, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Tell the Lord about this affliction as you would tell a tender Father, and leave the burden with Him. Fear not, for He says, Fear not, I will help you. Fear not, for I have redeemed you. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not. To be afraid when He has spoken is to disobey His kindness, for His arm which piled the heavens shall not be palsied toward you.

You ask us to pray that there be no cancer or tumour found in your mouth or upon your tonsils, and that the white coating upon the sides of your tongue and the white lesion upon your tonsils may be removed, that you may be healed and speak freely again. We do pray so. We entreat the Lord who is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, that if it be His will, He would purge this infirmity and make your tongue to show forth His praise. We speedily care for bodily diseases and seek the physician, and we may do so with thankfulness, yet our chief hope is in the Lord who heals all our diseases, for with His stripes we are healed.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and those healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, to show that pardon and healing are one in His hand. Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through Jesus Christ our Lord, and that peace is the foundation of all other peace.

So we pray for you now. O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this afflicted one. Calm the soul that is tossed, and keep the mind stayed upon You in perfect peace. Lay Your healing hand upon the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. If it be for Your glory, cause the white coating and the lesion to pass away, let no cancer or tumour be found, and restore health and free speech, that with the tongue You have made, Your child may speak Your goodness. Forgive sin, heal infirmity, and let this trial draw the heart nearer to Christ. And if healing tarry, keep faith from failing, until that day when need and darkness and infirmity are forever shut out and all disease is removed in Your presence. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. Amen.
