Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we lift up your tongue, mouth and tonsils to Him, asking for His healing touch and for His peace to calm your soul. We understand how distressing it is to see the white coating return after you thought you were healed, and to carry the fear of cancer or a tumor, and the difficulty of not being able to speak freely. We pray that even in this trial it will be for His glory and that you will feel His nearness.

Scripture reminds us that the Lord is our healer and our comfort. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. He also speaks to our fear and anxiety, for Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. James 5:15 reminds us that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we thank You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your mercy and healing power upon the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. Lord, calm this troubled soul and let Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding guard the heart and mind. We ask that You would remove the white coating from the sides of the tongue and cause the white lesion on the tonsils to disappear completely. We pray that there would be no cancer and no tumor found in the mouth or on the tonsils, and that every tissue would be restored to health and wholeness. Touch and heal, Lord, as only You can, for You are Yahweh who heals us as Exodus 15:26 declares. We ask that You would restore the ability to speak freely and without pain or fear, that the mouth may speak Your praise. Psalm 51:15 says Lord, open my lips; my mouth shall declare your praise. Let this healing be a testimony to Your goodness and power, for Your glory alone. If it is Your will to use physicians, give wisdom to any doctors or specialists who examine this condition and guide them to the right diagnosis and treatment. Help our friend to not grow weary or discouraged when healing seems delayed, but to trust in Your unfailing love and perfect timing, knowing that even in waiting You are working for good. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily, to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 says, and to also seek wise medical care promptly for examination and testing of the tongue and tonsils, trusting that God often works through the hands of physicians. Keep bringing every fear to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, and let His Word comfort you. We are standing with you for complete healing and for peace, believing that whether He heals instantly or through a process, He is with you and will be glorified through your life and your voice.

We have been praying with you about this pain in your mouth and tonsils. Seeing that white coating return after you thought you were healed must be so discouraging, and waiting while you worry about what it could be makes it harder to find rest or to speak freely as you want to.

We are asking the Lord to bring calm to your soul and to care for your body for His glory. While we pray, we also encourage you to let a medical professional take a look soon if you have not already. An exam with your primary care doctor, ENT, or dentist can give you clearer information about the coating and lesion and what next steps are wise. If you go, it can help to write down when you notice the changes, how long they last, and any other symptoms to share with them. We will keep praying alongside that care, not instead of it.

You are not alone in this waiting. We are holding you before the Lord and trusting Him to give you wisdom and peace day by day.

Father, we lift this dear one to You. You see this mouth and throat concern and the worry it brings. We ask for Your peace to steady their heart, for wisdom for those providing care, and for healing according to Your will. Help them to rest in Your nearness and to speak again with freedom. Your prayer has been laid before the Lord with tenderness and we have entreated Him on your behalf that He would calm your soul and heal your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His own glory.

We understand the burden you carry, the fear that rises when the white coating returns after a season of relief, and the anxious watching for a white lesion upon the tonsils and the dread of cancer or tumour. Such anxieties of the mind will bring midnight to the soul and unfit you to meet the trial, but the word of the Lord to you is, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. There is a peace, yes perfect peace, even in this dark world of care, for the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. Bear your sorrow with Him, cast all your care upon Him for He cares for you, and let your faith overcome your fear.

Hear also His gracious Fear not. Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in Gods garden. He says, Fear not, for I am with you, Fear not, I will help you, Fear not you worm Jacob. Fear is weakening and dishonours the arm which piled the heavens, therefore labour to get rid of fear by trusting the promise. It will be disobedience to be afraid when Jesus Himself whispers, Fear not.

We pray that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings, for with His stripes we are healed and the chastisement of our peace was upon Him. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature whole. Pardon and healing are one in His hand, and when the Lord comes and dwells with His people infirmity and dread are made to flee.

Therefore we pray that the Lord in His mercy would look upon you, that He would remove the white coating from the sides of your tongue, cause the white lesion on your tonsils to disappear, and keep you from cancer and tumour according to His wise and gracious will. We ask that He would grant you to speak freely again and to use your tongue to praise Him. As you wait upon Him, neglect not the means which Providence provides, for we speedily care for bodily diseases and seek the physician, and we pray the Lord to give skill to those who examine you and to give you wisdom in all things.

May the Lord keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed upon Him, may you know that you are in Jesus keeping and safe, and may you prove that to do the will of Jesus is rest even while duties press and sorrows surge round. We commend you to Him who will in no wise cast out him that comes to Him, trusting that earths struggles shall soon cease and Jesus shall call His own to Heavens perfect peace. We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing it before our merciful Lord who became man for us and knows our weakness and our fear.

We pray that He will calm your soul with His peace and grant you confidence in His healing care. We ask Him to lay His hand upon your tongue, your mouth and your tonsils, to cleanse and restore what is afflicted, and to let your healing be for His glory.

In the name of Jesus we ask that there be no cancer and no tumour found in your mouth or on your tonsils, that the white coating on the sides of your tongue would be taken away and not return, and that the white lesion on your tonsils would disappear completely. We pray that God would grant you full health, that you may speak freely and with a clear voice, and that your tongue, which is the hand with which we lay hold on the knees of God, may be kept clean and made strong to offer prayer, thanksgiving and praise.

We also encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care and to trust the physicians God has provided, while keeping your hope fully in Christ. He hears those who call on Him with a sincere heart, and He is able to do more than we ask. May He give you patience in this trial, freedom from anxiety, and a renewed strength to speak His goodness.

Your prayer has been heard and I am joining you before the Lord with care for what you are carrying. The anxiety that comes with sickness in the mouth and throat is real, especially when you have seen a white coating return after you thought healing had come, and when the thought of cancer or a tumor weighs on your mind. It is right to bring that fear and that desire for healing directly to Jesus and to ask that His name be glorified through your body and your voice.

Scripture speaks often about the tongue. It is a small part of the body, yet it carries great influence. It can kindle trouble like a small spark setting a large fire, and no person can fully tame it on their own. At the same time, the highest and best use of the tongue is to bless God and to speak His praises. There is a paradox there that we all know well. The same mouth that can praise the Father can also speak fear and complaint, and what comes from the mouth often reveals what is in the heart. Proverbs also teaches that the tongue has power to wound or to heal, and that a wholesome tongue is like a tree of life that brings health and comfort. That is why your longing to speak freely again is so meaningful. God gave the tongue to declare His goodness, to encourage others, to speak healing and hope, and He understands your desire to use your voice for Him without pain or hindrance.

The Bible also reminds us that when the afflicted cry out, God does not despise their affliction or hide His face from them. His eyes are on the righteous and His ears are open to their cry. The fear of the Lord, which is a reverent awe of who He is, His greatness and His mercy, is the beginning of wisdom and brings peace that fear of circumstances cannot give. When fear of sickness rises, we can ask Him to calm the soul with that reverent trust, remembering that the Lord is our light and our salvation, and that He is our strength. He has not left you alone in this waiting and watching.

I do not know how God will choose to work in your body, for the gifts of healing are distributed according to His sovereign will, and His ways are higher than ours. Yet we are invited to earnestly seek Him and to ask for healing, knowing that He is compassionate and able. Speaking to God, even with groanings that go beyond ordinary words, is something He fully understands, for the Spirit helps us when we do not have words. And when we speak words that can be understood, we build up others as well as ourselves.

So I pray with you now. Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift up this dear one to You. You see the tongue, the mouth, and the tonsils, You see the white coating and the lesion that causes concern, and You know the fear of cancer that has troubled this heart. Please calm this soul with Your peace that passes understanding. Lay Your healing hand upon this mouth and throat. We ask that You would remove the white coating and cause the lesion on the tonsils to disappear, and that examination would show no cancer and no tumor. Bring complete healing according to Your mercy and for Your glory. Restore clear speech, so that this tongue may be used freely to bless You, to praise You, and to speak words that bring life and healing to others. Give wisdom to any doctors who help, give patience in the waiting, and give faith to trust You whether healing comes quickly or through a longer process. Let this life be a testimony of Your goodness. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily, keep your tongue yielded to Him for praise even in this difficulty, and keep following medical guidance while you trust Him with the outcome. He hears you when you cry to Him.
