Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join with you in bringing your tongue, mouth and tonsils before our heavenly Father and we ask Him to calm your soul and to bring healing for His glory. We hear the anxiety in your request, the fear of cancer or a tumor, the discouragement when the white coating returned after you thought you were healed, and the longing to speak freely again. We lift all of this to the Lord together in Jesus' name.

We are reminded that our God is the one who heals, who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3. He has said, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. He is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. When fear rises about what this lesion might be, we cling to His promise, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

For the distress in your soul we pray the peace that God promises, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We encourage you to keep casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and healer, and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the tongue, the mouth, the tonsils, the white coating on the sides of the tongue and the white lesion on the tonsils. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch this mouth and heal it completely. We pray that there would be no cancer and no tumor found, and that every abnormal coating and lesion would disappear. Lord, restore healthy tissue, calm inflammation, and let the mouth be clean and whole so that Your child can speak freely, eat, and praise You without pain or fear. Father, calm this troubled soul, quiet anxious thoughts, and let Your peace guard heart and mind. We ask that even if healing feels delayed, faith would not waver, but that trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will would grow. We also pray for wisdom for any doctors or dentists who examine this condition, that You would guide their eyes and hands and give clear answers. Let this healing, whether instant or through Your guiding of medical care, be for Your glory alone. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus' name, and we trust You with the outcome. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily and also to continue to seek wise medical care to have your mouth and tonsils examined, for God often works through the skill He has given to physicians. Keep bringing every fear to Him in prayer, thanking Him that He is sovereign over your body and your future. Even when symptoms return, He has not left you, and His compassion does not fail. We will keep standing with you, asking the Lord to make your tongue and mouth whole and your voice free to speak of His mercy.

We hear how wearying this has been for you, watching your tongue and tonsils, hoping for healing, and then seeing the white coating return after you thought it had cleared. It makes sense that your soul feels unsettled and that speaking freely feels harder right now.

We are praying for both calm for your heart and care for your body, and that whatever is causing these changes would be clearly understood. The waiting and checking can itself be exhausting, and we want you to know you are not carrying this alone before the Lord.

Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to have this evaluated promptly by your doctor, dentist, or an ENT if you have not already, and to keep any follow up they recommend. It can help to bring a brief note of when you first noticed the coating and lesions, when they faded and returned, and any other symptoms you have noticed, so they have a full picture.

Father, we lift this dear one to You in Jesus name. You see the soreness and concern in their mouth and tonsils and the fear that comes with it. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom for the clinicians who see them, and for healing according to Your perfect will. Give rest day by day and hope as they wait, and let their life bring glory to You. Amen.

We have heard your cry and we bring it with you before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to show His mercy and power for His own glory.

You ask for a calm soul, and this is the very blessing the Lord delights to give. It is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows surge around and the body is weak. We pray that the Lord will stay your mind upon Christ, that you may know that perfect peace which is a present possession even in this trial. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you, is your privilege. The very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, but faith overcomes fear when the heart is stayed on the Saviour.

We also hear your fear concerning your tongue, mouth and tonsils, the white coating and the white lesion, and the dread of cancer or tumour. We pray that our Lord, who has borne our sicknesses, would lay His healing hand upon you. It is written, with His stripes we are healed, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. We entreat Him to purge away disease and to make you whole, if it be His gracious will, that you may speak freely and with a clear tongue to His praise.

Therefore we pray together, O Lord our God, look in compassion upon Your afflicted child. Calm the soul with Your perfect peace and take away fear, for You have said, Fear not, I will help you. Forgive sin and speak peace to the heart, for pardon and healing are one in Christ. In Your mercy, touch the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. Let no cancer or tumour be found there. Remove the white coating from the sides of the tongue and cause the white lesion on the tonsils to disappear. Grant healing, we beseech You, not for our merit but for Your glory, that the mouth now afflicted may be restored to speak freely of Your goodness and grace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only hope and salvation. Amen.

Keep your mind stayed upon Him and labour to get rid of fear, for fear is weakening and dishonours the God who has promised to help you. Whether He heals at once or keeps you waiting upon Him, trust His wisdom and love, and let your one anxiety be to be laid at His feet, for Him that comes to Him He will in no wise cast out.
