Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We have heard your cry and we join together with you before the throne of grace, asking our Father in Jesus' name to calm your soul and to bring healing to your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His glory.

We understand the fear and discouragement you feel, especially when the white coating seemed to be gone and then returned, and when you are worried about cancer or a tumor and about the white lesion on your tonsils. We want to remind you that our God sees your affliction and He is the One who heals. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. He is Yahweh who heals you as Exodus 15:26 declares, and Psalm 30:2 says Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me.

We also lift up the anxiety that weighs on your heart. The Lord does not want you to live in fear. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Isaiah 41:10 also comforts us, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together now for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come to You together and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the condition of the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. You see the white coating on the sides of the tongue and the white lesion on the tonsils. We ask that by Your mercy You would cause them to disappear completely. We pray that there would be no cancer and no tumor found in the mouth or on the tonsils. Let every test and examination show health and wholeness. Touch this body with Your healing hand, restore the tissues, cleanse the mouth, and let healing spring forth. Calm this soul, Lord, and replace fear with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding. Let this tongue be healed so that it may speak freely, clearly, and boldly for Your glory, to testify of Your goodness and to praise Your name. We trust You as our healer and our comforter. We ask this in the mighty and only name by which we are saved and have access to You, Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord daily and to keep seeking wise medical care, for God often works through physicians and He gives wisdom to those who seek answers. James 5:14-15 says Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We encourage you to let your pastor or elders pray over you in person as well, and to keep bringing every worry to Jesus, knowing He cares for you and He is able to heal and to sustain you through this trial.

We have been praying for you as we read your request. Waiting with a sore mouth and worried thoughts about your tongue and tonsils is exhausting, and we understand how discouraging it must feel to think you were getting better only to see the white coating return. Wanting to speak freely again is a very real and understandable hope.

We will keep asking Jesus to bring calm to your soul and to care for your body for His glory. While we pray for healing and for peace as you wait, we also encourage you to have a trusted medical professional evaluate this soon if you have not already, and to stay in close follow up until you have clear answers about what is happening and what care you need.

You are not alone in this. We are holding you before the Lord and asking Him to give you and those caring for you wisdom and steady guidance in the days ahead.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our brother before You. Calm his heart, ease his fear, and touch his tongue, mouth and tonsils with Your healing mercy. Give wisdom to the clinicians who see him, bring clarity about what is happening, and help him to speak freely again. We trust him to Your good care. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. Your cry concerning your tongue, your mouth and your tonsils has been brought before the Lord, and we have carried it to the throne of grace with you. To be afflicted in the very place of speech is a sore trial, and when a seeming healing is followed by the return of the white coating, the heart is apt to sink. Yet this is the very time to prove what is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

There is a perfect peace to be had even while sorrows surge round you, and it comes not from the removal of the symptom first, but from staying the mind upon Christ. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. We pray that the Lord will calm your soul with that peace which is a present possession, to be enjoyed even in this dark world of care and in the midst of thronging duties and fears. Bear this sorrow with Him, and He will bear it for you.

We know how anxiety unfits us to meet difficulty, and how the mind is the main thing which brings daylight or midnight. Therefore we entreat you to obey that gracious word, Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Tell the Lord Himself about it, not merely telling yourself about it in restless thought. He sees the tongue, the mouth, the tonsils, every white coating and every lesion, and not one of your sighs escapes Him.

We have prayed that for His glory He would lay His healing hand upon you, that He would grant that there be no cancer or tumour found in your mouth or upon your tonsils, that the white coating upon the sides of your tongue would be removed, and that the white lesion upon your tonsils would disappear, so that you may be restored and speak freely again. We ask this humbly, knowing that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He forgives sin He also heals infirmity, for pardon and healing are one in His pierced hands.

Fear not, for so often does the Lord say it to His own. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Fear not, for I am with you. It would be disobedience to give way to fear which dishonors God and weakens the hands. The fear of man brings a snare, but the fear of God brings blessing. We pray the Lord will labour in you to cast out that fear which torments, and give you trust in promised strength.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, and you should continue to seek wise and careful medical help while you look above all to the Great Physician. Ask first to be kept in peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, for being justified by faith we have peace with God, and without that there is no true enjoyment of life. That touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul will sustain you whether healing comes at once or by degrees.

So we pray, O Lord Jesus, look upon this suffering one. Calm the soul, forgive sin, and according to Thy perfect will heal the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. Let no evil disease take root there. Remove the white coating and the lesion. Restore clear speech, that with the tongue Thou hast made, testimony may be given to Thy mercy. Keep this dear one in perfect peace, mind stayed on Thee, trusting in Thee, till earthly struggles cease and Thou callest to Heaven's perfect peace. In Jesus name, Amen.
