Tongue disease
We join you in lifting up this burden to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who holds all things in His hands. Your request for healing and peace is precious in His sight, and we stand with you in faith, trusting in His perfect will and timing.
First, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture tells us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is by the authority of Jesus’ name that we come boldly before the throne of grace, seeking mercy and healing.
We are also encouraged by your testimony that it seemed as though you were healed, even if the symptoms have returned. This reminds us that our God is a God of miracles, and He is able to bring complete restoration. The enemy may seek to discourage you, but we must remember that *"the one who is in you is greater than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). Do not let fear take root in your heart, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
As we pray for your healing, we also ask the Lord to reveal any areas in your life that may need surrender or repentance. Sometimes, illness can be a call to draw nearer to Him, to examine our hearts, and to trust Him more deeply. *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24, WEB). We are not suggesting that your illness is a result of sin, but we know that God uses all things for our good and His glory, and it is wise to invite Him to search our hearts in every season.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister/brother who is suffering with this disease in her/his tongue, mouth, and tonsils. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who speaks life into every cell of our bodies. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch her/him with Your healing power. Let every abnormal cell be restored to perfect health, and let there be no trace of cancer, tumor, or disease in her/his body. You are the Lord who *"heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:3, WEB), and we trust in Your promise that *"by His wounds, you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB).
Father, we rebuked every spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to torment our sister/brother. Fill her/him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her/his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Let her/his soul be calmed by Your presence, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
Lord, we also ask for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals involved in her/his care. Guide their hands and give them discernment as they seek to bring healing. May every test and treatment be used for her/his good and Your glory.
We declare that this sickness will not have the final word. Instead, let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. Whether You choose to heal instantly, gradually, or ultimately in eternity, we trust in Your goodness. Strengthen her/him, Lord, and let her/his faith grow through this trial. Remind her/him that *"the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing"* (James 1:3-4, WEB).
Finally, Father, we pray that this situation will draw our sister/brother closer to You. Let her/his heart be filled with worship, even in the waiting. May she/he experience Your love in a deeper way and know that You are working all things together for her/his good (Romans 8:28, WEB).
