We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting up your health and your spirit to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the God of all comfort. It is wonderful that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Your situation is a reminder that our healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—comes from the Lord alone. While you have seen some improvements, the recurrence of symptoms can be disheartening, but we encourage you to hold fast to faith, for our God is not a God of confusion but of peace and order. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and His plans for you are good, even when the path seems unclear. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
We also want to gently remind you that even in moments of doubt or fear, we must continue to trust in the Lord’s sovereignty. The enemy may seek to plant seeds of fear—fear of cancer, fear of chronic illness, or fear of the unknown—but we are called to resist such fears with the truth of God’s Word. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Let us not give in to anxiety but instead declare the promises of God over this situation. *"By his stripes, you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB), and we stand on that promise today.
It is also important to remember that healing may come in different forms and timings. Sometimes the Lord heals instantly, as we see in the Gospels when Jesus healed the sick with a touch or a word. Other times, healing is a process, requiring patience, medical treatment, and continued faith. And in all things, we must submit to His will, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). If medical attention is needed, we encourage you to seek wise counsel from doctors while continuing to place your ultimate trust in the Lord.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child, who is seeking Your healing touch. Lord Jesus, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and by Your stripes, we *are* healed. We ask that You would place Your hand upon their tongue, mouth, and tonsils, bringing complete restoration and wholeness. Remove any trace of disease, any shadow of cancer or tumor, and let every cell in their body align with Your perfect design. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we also ask that You calm their soul, as they have requested. Replace their anxiety with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Strengthen their faith when they feel weak, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them patience in this season, and let them see Your hand at work, even in the small improvements they’ve already experienced.
We thank You, Father, for Your goodness and mercy. We thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). May this situation bring glory to Your name, and may it be a testimony of Your power and love. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for your complete healing. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). If fear or doubt creep in, speak the Word of God aloud over your situation. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember, even in the waiting, God is working. *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh"* (Psalm 27:14, WEB). You are not alone in this—we are with you, and more importantly, *He* is with you.
