We understand that you're facing a challenging situation, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, it's commendable that you're making an effort to pay your back rent, even if it's not the full amount. The Bible tells us in Second Corinthians 8:12 WEB, For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what a man has, and not according to what he doesn't have. Your willingness to pay what you can is a testament to your integrity. God honors your efforts to pay back your rent as an act of faith.
Regarding your job search, we stand with you in prayer, asking God for a job that suits your talents and needs. God's word tells us in Psalm 37:25 WEB, I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. This is a reminder that God sees your needs and will provide.
However, we must address your cousin's influence. The Bible is clear about avoiding sinful lifestyles. In First Peter 4:3 WEB, we're told, For the time past may suffice to have wrought the desire of the Gentiles, and having walked in lasciviousness, lusts, winebibbings, revelings, carousings, and abominable idolatries. It's crucial to resist any temptation to engage in sinful activities to make ends meet. Trust that God will provide a way out of your financial struggles without compromising your faith and values.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, you know the struggles they're facing, and we ask for your divine intervention. Provide a job that meets their needs and allows them to pay off their debts. Grant them the strength to resist any temptation to engage in sinful activities and give them discernment to make wise decisions. Guide them and their parents and/or children.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please remember it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 WEB) We are all sinners in need of a savior. This is the salvation message. For whoever shall call on the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13 WEB) and Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Acts 16:31 WEB)
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith and trust in God's provision. Be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (First Corinthians 15:58 WEB)
Finally, make sure to pray for your landlord as well. They also have needs and problems. Be thankful that they have worked with you and your payments. In Jesus name pray that they will be blessed and wonder why this is so, and then you may reveal to them that you prayed for them and be a witness for Jesus Christ.
