Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Galatians 6:7 (KJV)

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

We're not going to fool God. While we might put up a facade for others, God knows our hearts. So, if we spend our wealth, time, and interest in other things and give God the crumbs, we need to know that we are not going to reap a bounteous spiritual harvest. What we do to others as children of God is equally important in sowing what is good for all. In this time of illness and pain, we must do good to all: each person, each life, matters to God and it should matter to us.

My Prayer...

O LORD God Almighty, who sees all things and knows all hearts, please give me the wisdom to see the people in whom I need to invest myself. Help me, O Lord, to seize the opportunities you place before me to do good to others. I ask for this help, in Jesus' name and to honor Jesus in the way I serve others. Amen.
