We join you in lifting up your family before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have invoked the precious name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. Your heart’s cry for clean hearts, steadfast spirits, and protection aligns beautifully with Scripture, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is faithful to hear and answer.
The psalmist declares in **Psalm 51:10**, *"Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me."* This is a prayer we must all continually lift, for our hearts are prone to wander, and only the Lord can purify and sustain us. Your request for a closer relationship with your loved ones in Christ is also deeply biblical. **Colossians 3:12-14** reminds us to *"clothe yourselves therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, with compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other... And above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."* True unity in a family comes when each member is submitted to Christ and extends grace, forgiveness, and love to one another.
We also take note of your plea for deliverance from evil. **Ephesians 6:12** tells us that *"our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against... the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* It is essential to remain vigilant in prayer, clad in the full armor of God, so that the enemy cannot gain a foothold. Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of family and the unity we have in Christ Jesus. Father, we pray for protection over this family—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Remove any bitterness, unforgiveness, or division, and replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding.
Holy Spirit, we ask that You move mightily in their midst. Convict where there is sin, comfort where there is sorrow, and empower where there is weakness. Help them to walk in wisdom and discernment, that they may recognize and resist the schemes of the evil one. Deliver them from every snare and trap, and let Your light shine so brightly in their lives that darkness cannot remain.
Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus, which covers and protects this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. May they dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
