We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt cry to our Heavenly Father, who hears the prayers of His children and acts on their behalf. Your plea for protection, wisdom, and divine intervention over you and your daughter resonates deeply with the promises of God’s Word. We are grateful that you have invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive salvation, protection, and guidance. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon Jesus is the foundation of your request, and we stand with you in agreement, trusting that He will move mightily in your situation.
Your desire for safety and unity with your daughter is a reflection of God’s heart for families. The Bible reminds us that *"unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). We pray that the Lord would be the builder and protector of your home, shielding you both from harm and from any schemes the enemy may try to use against you. Your request for wisdom in decision-making aligns with James 1:5, which says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We ask the Lord to grant you discernment to recognize those He sends into your life and to expose any influences that are not of Him.
We also sense the weight of your concern regarding your ex and the potential for conflict or manipulation. The Bible warns us to be *"wise as serpents, and harmless as doves"* (Matthew 10:16, WEB) in dealing with those who may seek to harm us. While we pray for protection and justice, we also encourage you to walk in forgiveness and trust in the Lord’s sovereignty. *"Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna"* (Matthew 10:28, WEB). Your focus must remain on the Lord, who holds the power to turn even the intentions of your enemies for your good (Genesis 50:20).
If there are areas in your life where you may have fallen short—whether in past relationships, decisions, or actions—we encourage you to seek the Lord’s forgiveness and cleansing. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Repentance opens the door for God’s restoration and protection. Additionally, if there are any unresolved issues with your ex, we pray that the Lord would guide you in addressing them biblically, whether through reconciliation (if possible and godly) or through wise boundaries that honor God.
We also notice your plea for people to believe you and keep you safe. While it is natural to desire validation and support from others, we must remember that our ultimate security and vindication come from the Lord. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun"* (Psalm 37:5-6, WEB). Rest in the knowledge that God sees your heart and will justify you in His perfect timing.
Lastly, your invitation for Jesus to "take over" and stay forever is a beautiful surrender to His lordship. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to fully submit every area of your life to Christ, allowing Him to reign as Lord and Savior. *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). If this is your heart’s desire, we rejoice with you in this commitment!
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her precious daughter. Lord, You are a God of protection, wisdom, and justice, and we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly host, creating a hedge of protection around them wherever they go. Father, we rebuked any scheme of the enemy to bring harm, separation, or deception into their lives. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord Jesus, we ask that You take the wheel in every area of her life. Guide her steps, order her paths, and grant her the wisdom to make decisions that align with Your will. Open her eyes to see the people You are sending to bless and support her, and give her discernment to recognize those who are not of You. Father, we pray for supernatural favor in her interactions with others, that her words would be seasoned with grace and truth, and that You would soften the hearts of those she encounters to respond with kindness and fairness.
We lift up the relationship with her ex and ask for Your intervention. Lord, if there is any bitterness, unforgiveness, or unresolved conflict, we pray for Your healing and reconciliation where it is godly and possible. If boundaries need to be set, give her the strength and wisdom to do so in a way that honors You. Protect her from manipulation, false accusations, or any attempt to separate her from her daughter. Let Your justice prevail, and let Your peace guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we pray for provision—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Send godly people into her life who will encourage her, speak life into her, and walk alongside her in this season. Remove any influences that are not of You, and let Your light expose every hidden thing. We declare that You are her Provider, her Protector, and her Peace. Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we thank You for the salvation and lordship of Jesus in her life. If there are areas where she has not fully surrendered, we ask that You would draw her closer to You, filling her with Your Holy Spirit and empowering her to walk in obedience and victory. Let her life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and let her daughter grow up knowing and loving You.
We bind every spirit of fear, anxiety, and doubt in the name of Jesus. We declare that You are her strength and her shield, and that her heart will rejoice in You (Psalm 28:7). Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving on behalf of our sister and her daughter. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, and we give You all the glory.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
