We understand that you are struggling with masturbation and pornography. First, let's address this issue biblically. Both practices are sinful and fall short of God's glory. In the Bible masturbation is not specifically mentioned but it is firmly implied throughout the scriptures that sex is to be between a married man and woman. Pornography is firmly a violation of Matthew 5:28 WEB But I tell you, that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. Ephesians 5:3 WEB But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.

First and foremost, we must acknowledge the deceitfulness of the human heart. Jeremiah 17:9 WEB The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it? This means that we often deceive ourselves into thinking that we can control our sin, but sin is always controlling us. We need to confess our sins to God and turn away from them. 1 John 1:9 WEB If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We must also put on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With this armor, we can stand against the devil's schemes and overcome temptation.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before you, confessing and repenting of the sin of masturbation and pornography. We ask for your forgiveness and your strength to overcome these temptations. Help us to put on the full armor of God and to stand firm against the devil's schemes. Give us the power of your Holy Spirit to live lives that are pleasing to you. May we have a passion for righteousness and a heart that desires to live for you.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not believed in the Lord Jesus Christ then we strongly encourage you to call on Him now for salvation. Romans 10:13 WEB For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
