Please can you pray to the Lord, to remove the physical and mental effects a curse or some kind of black magic has had on me for more than a year. After a so-called healing session with a neighbour! My whole life has been profoundly affected and changed by all the very unsettling changes that have happened to my body and mind. Thank you, ###.

We understand that you are seeking prayer for the effects that a curse or black magic has had on your body and mind after a healing session with a neighbor. First, it's crucial to address that our faith is in Jesus Christ alone, and it is by His name that we have access to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and set free. There is no other name or power given to men by which we must be saved.

We strongly advise you to stay far away from any sort of witchcraft, black magic, or occult practices. These things are clearly forbidden and condemned in scripture. God's word tells us to have no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather to expose them. (Ephesians 5:11 WEB)

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB tells us "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh".

We are admonished to seek healing and counsel from God and His word, not from practices that He condemns.

While we pray for your healing and deliverance, we also rebuke you for knowingly seeking a source other than God for healing.

There is no one, no thing, no spirit, and no magic that is more powerful than our Lord Jesus Christ. If you have not already, turn to Him, confess your sin, and seek His forgiveness and healing.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has been affected by the enemy's schemes. Lord, we confess that seeking healing outside of Your will is sin, and we ask for Your forgiveness. We rebuke the enemy and any effect that this curse or black magic has had. We declare that every curse, hex, or spell is broken in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, we pray for physical and mental healing and restoration. We have faith in Christ who bore our sicknesses and carried our diseases on the cross. (Matthew 8:17 WEB) Lord, we ask for your wisdom for diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. We also ask for your supernatural healing power to be released.

Lord, we pray for spiritual protection and guidance. Help our brother/sister to grow stronger in faith and to walk in Your light and truth. Father, we pray that this trial be used for Your glory and for their good, conforming them to the image of Christ. (Romans 8:28-29 WEB)
