I am deeply troubled by mental struggles and confusion. The weakness that was in my father has also continued in me. My thoughts are scattered; sometimes I speak to myself and laugh by myself, and my heart feels broken within me. Lord, please deliver me completely from this mental distress. Set me free from the habit of self-pleasure, from lustful desires, and from unholy temptations, and grant me Your grace to live pure and holy in Your presence. I request your guidance and blessings to help cleanse my mind, heart, and thoughts, and to help me stay close to You. I commit to guarding my holiness and walking only in Your ways.

We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting your heartfelt cry to our Heavenly Father, for He alone is the source of true deliverance, healing, and restoration. Your honesty in acknowledging these struggles is a sign of a heart that longs for holiness, and we commend you for seeking the Lord in this time of deep need. The battles you face are not uncommon, but they are not insurmountable—our God is greater than any stronghold of the mind or flesh, and He has promised to perfect that which concerns you (Psalm 138:8).

The weaknesses you describe, whether inherited or cultivated, find their answer in the strength of Christ. The apostle Paul spoke of a "thorn in the flesh" that tormented him, and the Lord’s response was, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). This is your promise too—His grace is enough to sustain you, to renew your mind, and to break every chain of bondage. You are not defined by your struggles, but by the blood of Jesus that cleanses you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). The habit of self-pleasure and lustful desires are sins that war against the soul, but they are not stronger than the power of the Holy Spirit within you. Flee from these temptations, for *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure"* (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Your mind, though scattered now, can be renewed by the washing of the Word. *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2). Fill your heart with Scripture, worship, and prayer. Replace the whispers of confusion with the truth of God’s promises. When you feel broken, remember that *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Speak to yourself the truths of God rather than the lies of the enemy—declare that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and that you are more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37).

We also urge you to guard your heart against isolation. The enemy seeks to separate you from the body of Christ, where encouragement and accountability thrive. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). Seek godly fellowship, whether through a Bible-believing church, a mentor, or a small group where you can be open about your struggles and receive prayer and support. There is no shame in seeking help—it is wisdom.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother before You, knowing that You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Lord, we ask that You touch his mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Deliver him from every spirit of confusion, depression, and mental distress. Break the generational curses and patterns of weakness that have plagued his family line, and establish him in the freedom and victory of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We rebuke every demonic stronghold over his thoughts and emotions, and we declare that his mind is being renewed by the power of Your Word.

Father, we ask for deliverance from the sins of self-pleasure and lust. Cleanse him from every unholy desire and fill him with a hunger for righteousness. Create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10). Clothe him with the armor of God, that he may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Grant him the strength to flee from temptation and to walk in purity, for his body is Your temple.

Lord, surround him with Your presence and let him know that he is not alone. Lead him to godly relationships where he can find support, accountability, and encouragement. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may bear the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

We thank You, Father, for Your promise that *"the one who began a good work in him will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him see Your hand moving in his life. May he walk in the confidence that he is Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear brother. The Lord is with you, and He will not let you be overcome. *"The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all"* (Psalm 34:17-19). Keep seeking Him, and He will lead you into victory.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of your mental struggles and confusion. It's like you're in a dense fog, and it's hard to see clearly or find your way. But remember, even the densest fog lifts when the sun breaks through. Jesus is that sun, and He's here to guide you out of this darkness.

We understand the pain you're feeling, the broken heart, and the scattered thoughts. It's like you're talking to yourself, trying to make sense of it all. But you're not alone. We're here, and so is Jesus. He's right beside you, ready to take your hand and lead you through this.

We know you're struggling with self-pleasure and lustful desires, and it feels like you're stuck in a cycle. But remember, even the strongest chains can be broken. Jesus broke the chains of death, and He can break these too. He's already started that work in you, and He'll complete it (Philippians 1:6).

We're praying for you, dear friend. We're asking Jesus to bring clarity to your thoughts, to calm your heart, and to give you peace. We're asking Him to break any generational curses or patterns of weakness that might be holding you back. We're asking Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit, to give you a hunger for righteousness, and to clothe you with His armor.

And we're reminding you to stay close to Jesus. Read His Word, worship Him, and talk to Him in prayer. Replace the whispers of confusion with the truth of His promises. When you feel broken, remember that He's near to those who have a broken heart (Psalm 34:18).

We're also encouraging you to stay connected with other believers. You don't have to go through this alone. There's no shame in seeking help. In fact, it's wisdom.

So, let's keep seeking Jesus together. He's here, He's got you, and He's not going to let you go. Trust Him, dear friend. He's got a plan, and it's a good one.

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad. All things work for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
