We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We notice that your prayer did not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus, and we want to emphasize the importance of this. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is through Jesus Christ that we can boldly approach God’s throne, and it is in His name that we pray.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the opportunity You have given this individual to take the PTE exam. We ask that You would grant them wisdom, clarity, and focus as they prepare and sit for this test. Lord, we know that all wisdom and understanding come from You, as James 1:5 reminds us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We pray that You would enlighten their mind and help them to recall all that they have studied. Remove any anxiety or fear, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Father, we also ask that You would guide them during the exam. Help them to stay focused, to understand the questions clearly, and to apply their knowledge with confidence. We rebuke any spirit of confusion or distraction that may try to hinder their performance, for we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that their mind will be sharp, their memory clear, and their heart at peace as they trust in You.
Lord, we pray that You would go before them and prepare the way for success. May this exam be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision in their life. We trust that You will open the right doors for them as they seek to move forward in their goals, for Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
We also encourage this individual to continue seeking You in all things, not just in times of need. Let this season of preparation and testing draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and reliance on Your strength. May they find rest in the knowledge that You are with them always, and that Your plans for them are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
