We understand that you are going through struggles and we want to come alongside you in prayer and support. Life’s challenges can often feel overwhelming, but we know that God is faithful and His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Let us lift this burden to the Lord together, trusting that He hears our cries and is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28).
First, we must address the foundation of our faith. Salvation comes only through Jesus Christ, who said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life (Romans 10:9-10). Without Christ, we have no true victory over struggle, for it is only by His name that we are saved and set free.
Now, let us pray for your struggles, whatever they may be. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We lift up [###] to You, Lord, knowing that You see their pain, their fears, and their weariness. You promise in Your Word that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and so we ask that You draw near to them in this season. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that Your grace is sufficient for every trial.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that may be trying to take root in their heart. We declare that the enemy has no hold over them, for *"greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). We pray that You would break every chain of fear, anxiety, or doubt, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the victory that Christ has already won for them on the cross.
Lord, if there are areas in their life where sin has taken hold—whether it be bitterness, unforgiveness, addiction, or any other stronghold—we ask that You convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Your Word tells us that *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We pray for a spirit of humility and surrender, that they would lay every burden at Your feet and trust You to renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment, Father. Show them the steps they need to take to walk in Your will. Surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, that they may be encouraged and built up in their faith (Hebrews 10:24-25). Remind them that they are not alone, for You have promised to be with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You use their struggles for Your glory. Let their testimony be a light to others who may be facing similar battles. May they find comfort in Your presence and hope in Your promises, knowing that *"our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory"* (2 Corinthians 4:17).
We trust You, Father, to move mightily in this situation. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s Word and stand on His promises. Meditate on scriptures that speak to your specific struggle, and declare them over your life daily. Remember, *"the righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles"* (Psalm 34:17). You are not defined by your struggles, but by the One who has overcome the world (John 16:33). Keep pressing into God, and He will lead you to victory.
