We lift up this dear brother in Christ, asking for the Lord’s complete healing—body, mind, and soul. The Scriptures assure us that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand in faith that every affliction, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, will be touched by the Great Physician.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to Your throne of grace. We ask for Your divine restoration over this beloved child of God. Strengthen his body, renew his mind, and heal the wounds of his soul. Remove every trace of pain, anxiety, and despair, replacing them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding him that You are his refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, depression, and fear that may be attempting to hold him captive. The enemy has no authority over those who are in Christ, and we command these afflictions to flee in Jesus’ name (James 4:7). We pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit to fill him with joy, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose. May he arise with strength and move forward in the calling You have placed on his life, walking in the fullness of Your promises.
If there are areas in his life where sin or unforgiveness may be hindering his healing, we pray for conviction and repentance. Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We ask that any bitterness, resentment, or ungodly habits be broken, and that he would walk in the freedom Christ died to give him (Galatians 5:1).
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for any medical professionals or counselors involved in his care. Guide their hands and minds, and let them be instruments of Your healing power. Surround him with godly believers who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into his situation.
We declare that this brother is not defined by his struggles but by the victory he has in Christ. May he fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of his faith (Hebrews 12:2), and may he experience the fullness of life that You came to give (John 10:10). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the testimony of healing that will bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus’ mighty and matchless name, we pray. Amen.
