Let's first learn a principle from God's word. Let us marry this with proper behavior before we even begin to pray. Let's read from 1 Peter 3:7 WEB, "You husbands, in like manner, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered." From this verse we see that there is behavior that can hinder or block our prayers from being heard. This is not only applicable to husbands, but can be extended to any relationship. We need to examine our lives and behavior first to make sure it aligns with the Bible.

Now, let's address the relationship in your request. You didn't explicitly mention that this is a relationship leading to marriage, but we assume the goal is to be married since that is the biblical principle we follow.
